Just want to talk? Come here.
Can't wait for the winter olympics!!!
Hope Hannu Manninen finally can keep his cool in a major event and win...
He's been dominating his sport (nordic combined) for years but when there's a major event he f*cks up!
And i also have high hopes for the hockey team... But there's gonna be a lot of great teams...
And i hope Janne Ahonen is gonna win in the ski jump .
Actually we could get a lot of medals in different sports even if we are a small country .
Only thing Finland sucks in these days where we used to be good at is cross-country skiing.
At least in men... Some chick could possibly get a medal.

Ooh yes, the Olympics. Once again, Norway will pwn (hopefully).
About the nordic combined, Norway has a few up there as well (Magnus Moan and Petter Tande), and Roar Ljøkelsøy is doing good in the ski jumping (but Janne Ahonen will be tough to beat). Then we have cross country skiing (Marit Bjørgen got to be a favorite), biathlon, curling, speed skating, alpine skiing (Aksel Lund Svindal has a chance, at least) and everything else that I've forgot to mention... Gonna be long days in front of the TV, that's for sure

Well, there is another existing sport, which is listed under 'crap' in the dictionary.Pabl0z wrote:NFL = no interest
NRL... in Australia. Queenslanders in particular are crazy about the sport , and as an honest opinion, it’s like watching paint dry. I never knew the popular sport really existed until I moved here last year.
Overall, AFL owns.
Edit: The Winter olympics! Lets hope we can beat our previous record of 2 (or 3) Golds
Aren't all your medals from speedskating?jacoja06 wrote:Well, there is another existing sport, which is listed under 'crap' in the dictionary.Pabl0z wrote:NFL = no interest

Lol, yes... one is from speedskating (where everyone had a pingle on the final corner, on the final race, except for the Aussie ), and the second is from the womans Freestyle jumping.Morty wrote:Australia has more than one gold medal?

Argh!!!! So frickin' pissed today. My hair just got cut by the DM in my school just because it was 1 or 2 inches away from touching the uniform collar from the back!!!
Wanna know how much of hair did he cut? Well, let's just say it's as much as the length of half your pinky finger.
What a jackass he is! Should've seen how many peeps are longer and more obvious than mine.

Ahh... this new weird-ass school which I'm in ATM also has strict rules about hair and dress (well, not exacly like yours), but they do have a school marshal who acts like the fashion police around the place. Drives me insane.
I spend my days running from him, cause my hair is usually over the 'limit'

Ahh... OK. But my school's system is rather different. They just called all the boys to stand in the front and one by one, he checks and if he's not satisfied with your hair-cut, he'll just cut it off from your back, and you can't do anything 'cos it'll be too late.
I respect the school rules, yes. But just to bring up a point here, he has no rights to cut people's hair, mainly because of religeon rights. I mean, there're some religeons out there which don't allow it's followers to cut their hair.

I knew about Steven He made it to the news in Norway as well He was lucky tho... He was behind in all his races on his way to the final, because someone fell in all the heats he was in. And when the 3 others fell in the last turn of the final, he made historyjacoja06 wrote:Pabl0z wrote:Aren't all your medals from speedskating?Lol, yes... one is from speedskating (where everyone had a pingle on the final corner, on the final race, except for the Aussie ), and the second is from the womans Freestyle jumping.Morty wrote:Australia has more than one gold medal?
