Hell yea, GT4 is just ownage, maybe not the best though.

The Gran Turismo series really does have that dramatic '4354564 people made this game' feel to it.

I haven't played that many different (modern) games tbh...
Just been playing counter-strike mostly for the last few years

But one that has stuck with me is Quake 3's intro for some reason

It was just so cool at the time.

I very much like the GT4 opening movie, the Japanese version that is.The EU and US version are ruined for me bacause they changed the music.
Onimusha 3 is another game with an awesome intro. Some of the finest CG graphics i've ever seen. I can upload it if some of you want to see it.
There are some more games with very nice intro's:
-Metal Gear Solid 2 SOL
-Tekken 5
-Final Fantasy X
-ZOE 2
-Final Fantasy VIII

I usually skip the intro movies, but these are the best IMO:

- NFS2-SE (streetrace between Italdesign Cala and Jaguar XJ220

)
- DTM Race Driver 2: Compilation of all the different race-series in the game (love the DTM clips )

Gran Turismo 2. "My Favorite Game" montage.

Gran Turismo 4 (Japanese Version). "Moon Over The Castle" montage. It sounds so much better than the American Version.

James Bond 007: Everything Or Nothing. It starts with the famous 007 gun barrel intro, transitions to the 1st mission, and ends with the opening credits with features a great theme song. It's just as slick the movies!

Gran Turismo 1: The coolest intro in any game. And the song OWNS.

Gran Turismo 2: "My favorite game" song - with sexy car reflections
Gran Turismo 3: I like the weeving camera through the interior of the engine at the beginning. Actual song is also wicked

(Not sure if the Australian version is any different).
Gran Turismo 4: Not as cool as the others, mainly because only half the song was used. If you want something cooler, I suggest GT3.

. But lets face it... GT1 is the coolest

1. Need for Speed II (the intro with the Jag and the Cala Concept)
2. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (awesome Ferrari vs. Lambo chase)
3. Need for Speed Underground (Very first version)
4. Red Alert 2
