Oh, it's not the flash...the scans are great but the Carrera GT in the bottom left looks really weird...especially the rear...must be one of EA's weird bodykits...

Its written that the game takes places between dusk & dawn...ok, just like UG2

btw Klein, if you can scan each page seperately, it would be really helpful, because some paragraphs are really blured.

You do know the dude paid for the magazine, so no offence but I think he's done enough for us. (not trying to be rude at all)

i can make something out in the article that says you can "morph the look of the parts that you put on your car in real time." now that sounds cool

spartan.dk wrote:Hopefully, it will be realistic with no speedbreaker or something. At least have some kind of realisticality so that people will find that this situation can be somewhat believable. But what thing I'd like is a life playable thing.

Garage full of cars similar to GTA's safe house.
Outfit - If you're in a racing crew or something
Free run around cities
Ability to get out of car and buy parts at stores
Having ability to see the undercarriage of the car while upgrading etc
The 24h day, cop probability etc
If busted by cops, low chance of losing car, and taking X% of money.

To the cars...
Diffusers - A MUST.
NO RICE WINGS, REAL downforce spoilers
CF provides reduction in weight, parts like rims, body kits, doors, trunks, hoods, gas covers, brake pads etc
Exhaust - side or rear
Engine, or front clip conversions, sorta like sileighties
Lifelike rims, no edited counterparts
Tire decals, different treads for different races...
No spinners, neons, ICE, anything not having to do with race
Rollcages, those are nice too.
Mid engine conversions for cars
Hood scoops available only to MR or rally cars
Some real JDM kits, JGTC kits, DTM kits, Abflug/Curve/Veilside kits (MW provided an accurate portrayal of the DTM TT, but that's all), in general, real body kits and fuly functional cosmetics.

I'm sorry but I'm no the sterotypical racer where I take every single part out of my car including my carpet and try saying its a weight reduction...c'mon be real CF Gascovers? I don't think the .234oz will matter to much in a win/lose situation.

Dude, seriously. You gotta stop that, you're cruisin for a bruisin by the mods. You were warned on the last page.

Canyon racing sounds good...if it was in the day. But at night!? Who drives scenic outdoors roads at night?

Interesting concept about the "morphable" parts. That means we get to customise our own bodykits? Coz I've always wanted to do that, hopefully we can make the kits look un-ricey.

THE RETURN OF MUSCLE!!! YEAH!!!! :P Couldn't be happier.

One of the pages says that each car class will have its own skill, eg:
Tuners = Tight city corners
Muscle = Acceleration (How cool would it be if we could do wheelies)
Exotics = SPEED!

Hopefully this means that tuners would not keep up with exotics exept in city course. ...like seperate car classes. [/dream]

I mean can you REALLY imagine trying to drive an exotic flat out in a city? Its not really possible and a tuner is quite likely to beat an exotic in a high traffic city. (PS: I hate tuners so don't flame me I'm just stating a fact).

No more drags?!?! WTF was LaPierre thinking? Muscle cars and no drags? Dang!

This game would be heaps better with day time racing, at least for the canyons (imagine the sunset/sunrise over the canyon walls, speeding through the winding roads, the way NFS used to and should be...).

Just my 2 cents.

I personally think Carbon is gonna be a let down . I think they have too many exotics and not enough tuner cars . I want SKYLINEs , 350Zs , EVOs , CIVICs , ect ect not a porshe . I think that to have a mix is good but by the look of these shots there are hardly any tuner cars !

I'm pretty sure they will be in there. It's just that people (me being one of them) have been saying "Not enough exotics and muscle" for so long that EA thinks its a good move to publicise (sp?) the exotics and tuners first.

Wise man once say: "If you wait, the pics will come".

Hey, when it comes to racing, every bit counts. And plus, if they change the way how glossy the way CF looks, I'll be happy to put CF trunks and stuff. CF looks good imo.

Hey, Le Mans cars have as much CF as possible. In fact most racing cars have as much CF as they can afford. When you're a racing team with money then "why not" is a common term.

There's actually a Datsun 280z out there with a carbon fiber body. Yes, the whole body.

It weighs less than a ton. I wonder if you can do this with NFS:C?

about the morphing parts

methinks the article means car parts taking on damage. but then again, that's just my take.

either way is good. from the screenies, it's hard to discern if there will be damage in NFS:C

on a side-note, why is there no official announcement yet?
