So I take it the nextgen versions are going to be the only consoles that get Carbon then?

MW was released last year NOV?

but carbon will be released on pretty much everything, but slightly later for PS3 and wii (at time of actual console release)

well guyz don`t know how u feel about this game but i think it`s gonna be a killer
and i`m not such a big fan of nfs.I think that a cool feature of the game is the auto-sculpt
,cause i think i`m not the only one who got tired of the mw body`s,rims and spoilers

i too think that autosculpt will be the only good feature in the Carbon... but i sure hope EA has some unforseen surprises planned, because otherwise it would suck horribly.

Also I HOPE that the 50' cars that EA has said...are all good ones
unlike in MW...remember the punto.
If they are gonna make the same sillly kind of choices then...forget it.

Well...too bad. Only a handful of specially selected people (including me) can foresee the game's success ahead of its release date...and so, the autosculpt is really the only major feature of Carbon and because of this, the game will suck. Canyon races are almost like sprints but they do seem slightly entertaining (but not enough to stimulate by excitement). We are also forgeting that the game is called Need for Speed. If the whole point of the game is spending countless hours just "tuning" your car, then it's not a NFS game.

hahah pawned. i do usally spend lots of time tuning the car, but i always take it out for a fast run. the canyon races will be fun considering the fact you can fly off the edge of the cliff. i do agree with gt also, why do some people even bother being a member here? i kind of hate the complaining, because more than half the people who say it will suck end up buying it anyways and like it, even if they "say" it sux.

I won't go as far as telling that the game will suck (I'm no psychic), but you've got a point. The "Speed" aspect of the game is becoming less and less important. My guess is that in NFSU3 the cars will drive themselves and there will be more or less 2,000 parts to choose from.

Probably around November. The past 3 NFS games have come out around that time. In time for the Holidays, I suppose.
