celeron works just fine, as long as you have a decent graphic card.

Getting a Celeron means you'll kill your graphics cards performance.

My current config:

P III 800 Mhz
256 SD RAM
Nvidia GeForce FX 5200
40 GB HDD
HP DVD -RW

Running on Win XP.

Surprisingly i was able to run NFS Most Wanted though with the tool running which can disable the pretty graphics. motion-blur, particle system, overbright, and shadows, etc.

That bit I don't know. I happened to come across that machine in a magazine review. I did visit the site too but didn't go into much detail. BTW, how much does a PPU cost nowadays??

If possible both because the Celeron isn't good enough for games and stuff IMO, and the onboard graphics solution wouldn't work much. I'd go with t3ice's advice.

If you have enough HD space, yes it will obviously work. Probably at max setting or NEAR max.

No it won't... FFS TG I'm running it on Barton 2500+ and it's working perfectly with a Radeon 9550 @ 1024x768

CPU definitely isn't a bottleneck for Most Wanted. I'm running it with an aging AMD XP 2400+ (2.0 GHz) at 1600x1200 flawlessly (all maxxed, except AA which is at first setting from the left; 7800GS 256MB). It's the graphics card that's pushed and yours is well capable of running the game.
