At 3D-Palace.com they have a video tutorial for Audi A3, which is very good. You have to register, but its free. http://www.CG-CARS.com also has some written tutorials, like PDFs and such, but you have to search for them in the forums.

hmm.. i can't really make out the wirframe... do you have mesh smooth turned on? if so, turn it off and take another wireframe shot.... that way i can give you better advice, because i notice that you still have a lot of fixing to do...

Oh thanx every one....its still in progress...

@ Prelude : I use 3dsmax7

@ Ibi : well ...there is a problem....i meshmoothed it and then accidently turned it to
editable poly so i doubt it can be of any use....
About the latest project ...Im finding it difficult to symmetry the body...the
other half seems to connect at the wheel..instead of the hood...also im trying to use metallic paint....:P

you guys do some really good work here! I am just starting into the 3d modeling world, and have a clas on it at school, but we use maya 8, and i have maya 7 personal learning edition at home, and am working on getting the full, so once i start getting good, i wil start posting stuff, right now we are making a robot similar to the ones in the movie, "robots."

You can download SketchUp for free now, if you want to try it. It's like an unlimited trial with certain things diabled, like exporting and what not, but you can still save your work.
