Gamespot's NFS Carbon Hands on
Gamespot got to play Need for Speed Carbon on Microsoft's X06 event in Barcelona, Spain.
They got to try out both quick races, this time with 19 other cars vying for the checkered flag, and the carreer. About driving they mentioned the car's controls were just as squirrelly as from Most Wanted. Aside from playing the standard game modes, they also got to try out race wars, a new challenge mode found in Carbon which basically pits you against a rival crew. Overall they were quite impressed and if you want to know, just read the whole article.
In addition they added a new Xbox360 gameplay movie which is worth checking out.

Hey, the article in the link says 19 cars, and not 9. Damn we will need some good PCs to 'move' that.
19 x 4 = many tires burning out at the start of each of those specific races LOL.
Good thing that guy didn't know how to drift. We wouldn't know if EA was just messing with us about falling off the cliff thing. the barricades fell off and thats a good thing =D
I remember in underground 2, if you went up or down jackson hill and drove towards the wall/barricades pointing towards the city below, the whole city would light up, meaning it was just a background.SP4RCO wrote:the lightning effects are cool btw. There is actual darkness in not enlightened zones.
good to see them improve that as well in carbon.
