Need For Speed: Carbon
Yeah i read that, it seems like a pretty cool idea, although one day 2 friends might not be friends anymore after a 2 player pink slip racegtouk21 wrote:i suppose you are right when saying that we must get back to the point of the forum.

could be cool though. Imagine you invite a couple of okes over, and they scheme that no one can beat them. You beat them and got their car. And you have proof.
Also maybe having a race tracker, which i 'think' NFSC will have, which you can track how many race's you and your friends have competed against each other.

Muscles suck. Tuners and Exotics Rule. Mitsubishi foreva
Yeah true thats a good point, nothing is more godly than proof these days.gtouk21 wrote:could be cool though. Imagine you invite a couple of okes over, and they scheme that no one can beat them. You beat them and got their car. And you have proof.

Hmmm race tracker is a good one too, but wouldn't they have had it in previous games like U2 and all. I never played againts my friends but i played online so not sure.

NFS C: Paying for Cheats?
Electronic Arts didn't make much friends, when offering bonus features for those who buy Need for Speed Carbon at EA Downloader, since those who buy the game "regularly" will be disadvantaged.
Today the german onlinemagazine Winfuture reports, that you even have to pay for cheats in EA's latest title 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007'.
With the release of the game 'Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2007' for the Xbox 360 EA claims fees for unlocking cheats. So you can unlock better players and new courses, when you play with game points, you bought first with your credit card.
It will be difficult for Electronic Arts to explain its customers this new policy, since cheats have always been free. The higher production costs of games of the new generation can hardly be an excuse for the payment for cheats.
Time will show which way Electronic Arts will go with Need for Speed Carbon, but the try to make profit with cheats won't really work...

Let's make this clear, if EA offers downloadable content, I'm NOT paying for it. How is it that a smaller company such as Atari is able to offer free downloadable content, while a big ass company EA wants to charge for extra content? Don't they have enough freaking money? First in-game ads with adware (read Battlefield 2142 news) and now paying for extra content?

Read the EDIT:

Well, now I edited the post so people would not be "confused". I clearly stated after that in an EDIT that the list is not full...but I guess reading is hard. I don't know, I'm just assuming...
