The Ford GT a muscle car? Please, you've got to be kidding me.

Just because it has a powerhouse under the hood doesn't make it a muscle car! In fact, I disagree with EA's choice of putting the Viper in as a muscle car. To me the Viper is an exotic. Exotic cars are the rare cars that are hard to come by, and a Dodge Viper sure fits that description, as does a Ford GT. EA's classification system is pure EA, I don't know what they were thinking. There's so many parts of it with which I disagree, especially some of the "low-level" exotics. But oh well, I doubt we can do anything about it.

The M3 is an exotic because it's not a normal M3 but an M3 GTR.

Methinks EA needed a 4th class: Race Cars/Supercars.

The tecno in NFS 2, 3, 4,and 5 were pretty, but the rest of the tecno was C-R-A-P.

About the PS2. They could nake th graphics like Gt4 if they out some work into it, but they are givin PS2 a bad name IMO.

Just disable the EA Trax on Carbon and run a Quicktime or Windows Media Player window while you're playing...

To the one person who posted about the GT being a muscle car

As Prince said, exotics are cars that are rare and hard to find. Ford has made its last GT. That qualifies it to be exotic.

I know these are not new pictures but they are available in extremely high resolution (2560x1440)...which is really cool:
http://www.gamershell.com/pc/need_for_s ... shots.html

Direct link to Futureshop's Carbon pre-order:
http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/prodde ... 654&catid=#
Also, notice there is no "normal" version of Carbon for PC and this time it's PC DVD (unlike Most Wanted)

EDIT: The PC version is half the price of the Xbox360 CE...one more reason PC rules. :P
Well Futureshop has the PC version on sale, while I checked the Best Buy site and it costs $50.

One Bloody long link on the previous page is enough no need to ruin the script on this page also!!!

LOL, I checked BB too and found the same thing. Unfortunately I don't have a credit card so I can't order it at $40 CDN. However, the Future Shop is just a five minute from my place so I can grab it right after class. :D

I always saw exotics as your german/european sports cars, lambo's ferrari's etc, as for street cars they were always sort or superior. But then you get cars like the Ford GT and the Holden GTS-R, HRT 427 that I would class as modern muscle, that are built by classic muscle car builders, but are engineered to meet the lambo/ferrari's on the track.

The Ford GT is basicly a rebuild of a 1960s racecar that they enlarged abit so larger people can ride in it, and they added some safety features, and a new cleaner engine to make it road legal again.
And TADA, you got yourself a new car...
And if you look at it that way... the Ford GT is basicly a pretty lame car, and Ford ran out of Ideas to make a new sportscar so they got some drawings out of the desk and used that

Same time!

And exactly. Last Ford I had broke down and never started back up. Took good care of that car and it had to be an ass and break down.
