on need for speed most wanted on low end cards you cant turn on rain effects! but you can use visual treatment, motion blur and so forth, but with need for speed carbon , on low end card you can turn on rain effects, but cant turn on motion blur visual treatment and so on vice versa! what is ea up too?

Yes, I am really disappointed, I don't understand.
NFS Underground surely don't use SM3 !!!! and there is motion blur, light glow, etc

They did not implement compatibility with older cards without sm3 right to help the sales of new graphic cards.
It is disgusting

I do not think so. cause SM3 cards can enable Motion Blur, whereas SM2 Cards cannot.

i dont think so , co'z i have a geforce 5500 and with nfsmw i was able to turn on motion blur and alot more other options on nfsmw and i am very sure my card only has shader 2.0! i guess they rushed nfsc to fast! one more thing soo ugly menu! unlike nfsmw better main menu!
