i would like ea getting back into their roots exotics, sweet tracks, and cops. and also have lots customization (tuners and maybe muscle cars), roam free, sweet graphics, damage models like in high stakes i think. and the tuners defeityly needs body kits(crazy and subtle). and maybe night/day changes, and i think the rest been mention, oh and no storyline. I don't even think we need one

NO, NO RICING!!!!
The perfect NFS would be MW with tones of rides, day/night cycle, improved cop AI and a laaaarge race area. Make it a whole state! Like 3 large citys, several small, lots of villages and country roads...

Add more importance to a tuning part. Create life-like aerodynamics so bodykits will matter. Make spoilers provide more traction because of downforce and make rim widht and such also depend on car performance. More dyno-like-NFSU2 tuning, more tech part of the game where you can actually tune car not slap random stuff on it.

I cant understand why some people have an issue due to "ricing" if you don't like it then you don't have to use it ;) but if the possibility is there the game appeals to a wider selection of gamers and that is not a bad thing.

If somebody wants to use kits, be my guest, i don't mind racing kits but prefer a ride to look stock with some serious firepower under the hood...

Now THAT is non-factory modding gone TOO FAR!!

My perfect NFS would have:

freeroam (obviously),
more than one city,
a day/night cycle, like GTA,
more emphasis on cop evasion, like in MW (Carbon missed the point completely),
a bigger Career mode, with ALL unlockable cars available in it,
bodykits, spoilers and rims that actually make a difference to handling,
a more stable online mode including freeroam with cop AI,
LAN options,
a track editor (the ability to create routes through the city, place speedtraps, etc),
decal and vinyl editing,
PROPER car damage, with even the possibility of having to pay for repairs,
more weather conditions ie snow, fog, etc,
Ferraris,
MORE HATCHBACKS!! Come on, EA, you know it makes sense.

yes proper car damage, that is why i recomended a blend of PU. also maybe another suggestion would be to add a little bit of burnout revenge style in terms of damage and intensity of crashes

Try to listen more on physics lessons in school then. A car with 500 bhp but with its body look like a brick will get smoked by even 300 bph car that has a narrow shaped body wich will result in more downforce, more traction, less air resistance.

ricing is fine. ktnxbye.

So if you want to make your car look nicer,
but not faster cuz there are speed limits.
You are then automatically a ricer?
You need fuel economy and comfortable seats...

...and not speed. Tell me are you a ricer then?

Here's mine:
I think EA should make a NFS like the classics. With nice graphics, realistic handling and real car performance. They should make car performance tuning disabled (maybe enabled on some cars, tuners maybe), except NOS should still be available. And good visual customization too. There should be chalenge series like in HP2, choose one of available cars, no tuning, no NOS. Career should have visual tuning (but nothing depending on it) and player could put NOS in a ride. Arcade mode should also support visual tuned cars and a setting NOS on/off (it would depend on all cars in the race), and an option to select the cars to have their real performance or performance of another car (all cars-same performance but only in arcade mode). The game should be called like a classic (like NFS HS2), I'm sure that would make much ppl interested in the game just by the title. Also, gameplay shouldn't be too hard (I had problems with last few career and some challenge series races in NFS C).
I think the complete opposite to you, they should get rid of all bodykit nonsense and make spoilers and stuff affect car performance, expand performance tuning to a deeper level, but still let you knock around at incredible speed without damaging the car. That will live up to the name "need for speed", not some all show no go sh|t.

My dream NFS will be:

-the customisation possibility's from Need For Speed Underground 2
-very big race area(with country) and hills...
-cops
-the Autosculpt feature BUT MUCH MORE FRONT BUMPERS,SIDE SKIRTS, REAR BUMPERS...
-very much cars
-that you can CUSTOMISE EVERY CAR (so no already tuned cars !!!)

I will update this list when i will have new ideas.

Just thought of a couple more things I'd like to see:

MP3 playback, thus negating EA's usual rent-a-soundtrack,
If the option to fit sub-woofers in the boot is to return, how's about it actually affecting the sound quality of music playback? This worked a treat in GTA San Andreas.
And perhaops a PC version of the game with no adware. Et Tu, EA? >.<

My dream Nfs

Post by reputated »

* i would say that EA should provide the chasis of the car ONLY and rest of the parts should be buyable from a catalog which features atleast 50 types of bodykits bumpers and everything and atleas 100 rim types should be avaliable which could be autosculpeted to atleast 20 zones 8) ! not like only 5-6 types of autosculptable bumpers in carbon!
* there should be a mode that allows you to create your own visual, body and performance parts and even a new car from scratch! which would be available in the career
* day-night cycles
* neons, headlight colours etc should be brought back
* bring the mobile into play i.e. why only you should enter races, why do only you recieve calls, why cant you organise races and make money that way! it would be extreme fun! atleast for me 8)
* cars should have good damage effects and the game should have nice graphics
* system requirements should not be like god! :P
* there should be a long career mode and every car should be available in it!
* free roam ofcourse and bring back modes such as outrun etc. :P
(one small note i know it sounds crazy but its cool it you think about it  ) 8)
Some pursue happpiness; others create it

reputated wrote:* system requirements should not be like god! :P
dunno how thats supposed to relate to the game... and even then you cant expect to be able to run everything with perfect visuals on some non-god-level system requirements neways.... but if it is indeed your dream to be able to run any good nfs game on a not so brialliant machine then i guess it's reasonable enough... just dont know why you wouldnt prefer to dream of having a god-spec-system instead
