This is similar to an arguement I had with a mate about spending say 10k on a V8, or buying a V6 and spending the remainder on working the V6 to make more power than the 8. I'd take the mod for usre,. just because I've always had big ass idea's, but no cash

Utter utter shiznit. As WELL as the list that Bogan supplied, the M6, Zonda F, CCX, Evo IX FQR400, 997 Turbo, 997 GT3, 997 GT3RS, most of the RUF Turbo series and many other cars have done an 8-minute Nurburgring.
Do you have a link or proof about the 997 turbo? Not saying it isnt true, but although it was damned quick, when we were timing it going round, it was a little off the mark to be hitting sub 8s in all honesty.

I must admit I don't. However, with the GT3RS being capable of a sub-8 'Ring, and the Turbo being quicker over the 1/4ml, the mile and around every other track I've seen it reviewed on , I assumed that the Ring would be no different.

I'd go for a Gallardo, it's my favorite car ever. As far as I know, It's confortable and fast, isn't it?

I think that it comes more to taste than to which car is actually better. If anyone asked me to choose between a Lamborghini Gallardo and a Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren, I'd take the Gallardo without a doubt. Why? Because I think that the McLaren is ugly and no power is ever gonna make me take it over a Gallardo.

So, in the end, I'd go with a Gallardo.

Right now, exotics wise, I think I'd go for a Murcielago LP640.

if 200k could buy you an f1 engine, then go 4 modified. but I'd go 4 modded even if it couldn't anyway, 200k would make it the only one of its kind.

That would be cool, till your engines blows after a week of driving cause they are not build to last more then a weekend of racing.

Nice car, but like all aproacing classics, best left stock/subtle.
And your earlier talk of vinyls indicates it ISN'T subtle...

Do we have to use all 200k?

Because I'd get a VeilSide NSX, stick some mods for comfort on it, and be done with it.

200k USD = Buy a Nissan Patrol then mod it, tune it then it gets faster than a Murcielago. So much for an Ideal Family car. But seriously, Id prefer buying a cheap car and mod it.

Neither, 1995 Chevrolet Impala SS, usually sell for $13K to $15K around here still. Swap out the stock 350 CI motor, modify the K-Frame rails, and drop in a 750 HP 572 Cubic Inch Chevy crate motor. Space for six people to ride, 23 gallon gas tank, huge trunk, and very safe. I know this car is safe because my 95 Caprice, very similar car without Impala option was totaled, and I was able to walk away from the car rolling 3 times. Dry weight is 5,160 pounds without the 23 gallons os gasoline, and it's still quick with the stock motor.

Btw, Black Impala SS's look hawt.

Plus, I'd have about maybe $150K left, I'd buy a nice house.
