Do you realise that you're not supposed to do that, with the current water restrictions?Oreo wrote:I wash by Hose. It's so much easier that way.

(As bogan said) Because of the water restrictions over in Queensland, I just had to use a bucket to wash the car. WA restrictions are very minor compared to the eastern states... We can use the hose at any time
We bought quite a few dollars worth of car cleaning accessories a while back, so cleaning now usually takes about 3 hours every few weeks, and the results are fantastic

My car gets handwashed fortnightly, I go to the carwash at about 2am and use there pressure cleaner, but my own washing materials etc. wax goes on once a month, and polish every 3 months. All maguirs products, and always rinse the car off with fresh rain-water, to prevent and oxidising on the paint from chlorine products in town-water. By rinsing with rain-water you don't even have to use a chamois, it dries spot free and is better for your paint.

My mates sister cleans my Saab by hand. Not sure why, but once a week, like clockwork, she crosses the road and cleans it, I asked her once, she said she loved the car, but I think it may be my mates doing, seeing as he blasts crap music on his home stereo, and maybe she just wants a way out lol. But yeah, I steam clean the engine at the cleaners though.
Edit: I dont have a liscence, but my car does get around, as I lend it to my uncle when his car is being worked on.
