I remember back in the GeForce2 days when Leadtek and Gainward were the top performers in terms of overclocking ...

It depends on your OS not Processor and i think that Gfx Drivers are universal (meaning 32bit and 64bit)

they are NOT universal (drivers never are  )

he is right though, it depends on your windows, you only need 64bit drivers if you have 64bit windows

since you have MCE (which is 32bit afaik), you need 32bit drivers

Guys which of these Cards should i get:
144Euros:
http://www.pakom.com/KatalogProizvoda/O ... ra=9001848
http://www.pakom.com/KatalogProizvoda/O ... ra=9003064

or should i go for this one: (171euros)
http://www.pakom.com/KatalogProizvoda/O ... ra=9002973

I know you are going to say the last one but are the other two good cuz i don't really want to pay much money on a Gfx Card

depends on what you need it for

GT > GS though so dont get the GS

So i am going for the 512mb version of the GT cuz i see the Memory clock is 1400Mhz and GPU is 560 Mhz. Here go another 171 Euros down the drain.

Can someone find me some benchmarks for this card?

Only if you play on resolutions over 1600x1200 and you want decent FPS.

Depends entirely on the resolution of your monitor ...

Under 2 MPixels (1600x1200/1680x1050) and the 320 MB version is perfectly fine ...
Over 2 MPixels and you'll probably want the 640 MB version ...

Of course, if you plan on playing DX10 games, you'll probably want to get the 640 MB version anyways as the buffer requirements will probably be much higher than they are with DX9 unless you play @ 1280x1024 or lower.

Would it be worth a new CPU Motherboard RAM and another GFX Card to SLi My 7600GT? All in all about $400.

Wow guys, you have to check some great deals from http://www.amazon.com.

Ontopic, I currently have a GeForce MX400, and I am thinking about getting Test Drive Unlimited, which suggests at least a 256 MB graphics card, while mine is a mere 64 MB. Any suggestions on cards that would not only meet that requirement, but would exceed that requirement for an affordable price (I don't care if it's ATI or NVIDIA)?

@porsche: 7600GT or higher should do

@carcrazy: keep in mind that SLi really only is useful with high resolutions (1600x1200 and up) and high AA

also, ive read some games have issues with SLi (some have extra support though)

oh god due. its 2007 and you have a mx400?! well i guess i cant really be talking but as high as Best Buy's prices may be, they usaually have good low prices for cards like the 7950 which last time i went on friday was at 280.

@donaldgladden: He can't get the 7950 cuz it's on PCI-E he needs an AGP card.

@Porsche-AG: Look for a 7600GS or 7600GT or if you want the best of the best try looking for a Sapphire X1950Pro AGP or a 7800GS AGP (<----these 2 cards have both 256mb and 512mb DDR3 versions).
Or you can wait for that nVIDIA card that will be coming out on AGP with DX10 on it.

well in that case, i'd still hunker down and get a BFG 7800GS AGP card. yeah.......good luck trying to find one.

Most likely you'll find one for at least 180. if your going Vista ready budget, then grap yourself a ATI X1300 for 130

Unfortunately, I'm not one to spend a lot of money on a GFX card. And since this isn't even my computer (It's my dad's), he wouldn't want to buy a GFX card that he wouldn't be using much. Just curious, are we all using USD currencies, because translated to CDN, it's quite a bit more.

Is it AGP or PCI-E? If it's PCI-E I can get you a heck of a deal on an overclocked BFG 7600GT that kicks butt!

EDIT: I tried to get the link 4 you but newegg is down for some reason.

If you're running a GeForce2 MX400, your computer is going to be circa 2002, which would be maybe 1.8 GHz tops (probably lower).

Basically, to run Test Drive Unlimited, you're going to need a whole new computer if my assumption is correct.

Could you please list the rest of your computer's specs, please ?
