DId the RX series improve or dissapoint you?

...Cause I know it dissapointed me. The Rx-7, in my opinion, owns the 8. I like the rx-8 enough, but seriously... Dissapointing indeed... But that might be just me. So? do you like the change or feel they should start producing the 7 again?

Don't compare the RX-8 with the RX-7, because it's comparing an apple with a pear.

The RX-8 is not the new RX-7.

newer doesn't exactly mean faster and better either. sort of like the lamborghini murcialago is faster than the gallardo which is newer, but the murcialago has been around longer.

The RX-7 could be purchased with a twin-turbo setup while the RX-8 is N/A. Wankel engines aren't what you'd call fuel efficient and the turbos didn't help. The RX-8 is still a sports car, but it's also resource concious, Mazda sacrificed the power for economy, which sells.
