Old times....C&C Tiberium Sun PWNZ all the other C&C (Except RA2 and Yuris Revenge)

RA2 was the best i played, as in RA1 it was missing somethings but it still played nicely
Tiberian Sun i think is really close to RA2 i loved that game other C&C games where mmh..Yuri was easy no real changes. Generals EA finally took over completely and destroyed it tried to add over graphics and forget a lot of the game work it self again.
but i think this C&C 3 is very promising cause its really a part of TS

i like generals for the skirmish mode. i dont like any strylines or BS like that in these type of games

Just got my copy this morning.

But I won't be able to play it until this weekend (too much school work to do).

EDIT: Gamespot gave C&C3 a 9.0 (apparently, the best C&C game to date), while it gave only an 8.7 to Supreme Commander. C&C3 must really rock then!

the made red alert for plantations they might do it for ps3 its great graphic and game but i played for 5 hours when i first got it and then i quit and came back on today and nothing was saved not even my skirmish plays

hmmm. and to be curious, did anyone see the secret animations that some of the units do? I know that the Juggernaut can scratch it's upper torso, and the Crane does some odd dance moves.

Why is that? I honestly don't know computers, is it detrimental that I stay away or is this from someone who could launch a NASA shuttle from there PC? I just want to be able to play the game smoothly. Not flaming, just stupid when it comes to PC internals

Oh ok, so a brand spanker Intel card will still be worthless because it is intergrated? I forked out about 2000 for a brand new Dell, that is supposed to be designed for gaming so i just figured that it may be ok. I might just buy the game, give it a weeks trial and if it runs crap ill take it back

yea, what exactly is the model of the integrated gfx ? when i bought my new comp it came with a nvidia integrated gfx that was a 6150 LE (yuck) i immediately bought a 7300GT and the rest is history

There have been a lot of updates lately...from V1.1 to V1.3. I was just wondering, a couple of days ago I installed V1.2 directly (I did not install V1.1) and I was thinking if V1.2 also fixes the issues from 1.1 or do I have to download 1.1 and then 1.2 again?

I am actually surprised at the number of patches and I've heard there are more to come. It's about time EA gives a shiznit about one of their games. So far, C&C3 doesn't have any glitches, no random crashes; it's actually very stable.

I thought there would be more discussion about this game, especially since it's an EA game.

Anyways, Patch 1.4 has been released today addressing mostly multi-player issues. I played about 5 hours so far this weekend, mostly through the NOD campaign. Right now, I am on the last mission of Act IV and I believe I am at the beginning of Act III in the GDI campaign.

The game turned out awesome. EA has finally done a quality game.

SPOILERS:

Later on, the game gets really intense. I mean really intense. The Scrin land on Earth and not only do you have to fight the Scrin but also the GDI. You actually ally with GDI for one or two missions but then you betray them. Actually, it get's even more complicated when one of the NOD followers betrays Kane and of course you need to defeat the traitor as well!

END SPOILERS

Definitely a fun game and worth checking out!

I just wanted to bring this thread back to ask if anybody has a savegame with all the transmission logs. While I was doing the missions, I missed a few of the transmission logs and information. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone has a savegame containing all the logs. Thanks.
