the Ipod is the #1 selling mp3 player in america ......... doesnt mean its the best if i had to get a razr it would be this atleast it has flash for the camera

but then my 2 gb microsd card would become useless because the v3x can only support up to 512 mb

Actually I bought mine while I was on holiday in Malaysia - it was half the price it was in Australia [and the one I bought wasnt attached to any sort of plan like it would be here, it was outright]...Its a decent phone, but its more about the look and feel of the phone than the features it has....there are pros and cons to the phone.

And about the above argument: @darknight's last post: First sentence explains everything. If some other companies advertised their products like apple or motorola, they'd be pretty popular too. I got the KRZR cause I didn't want to have something everyone else had, but I HAD to get something that can be used outside of the U.S. And Motorolas are easily switchable for international stuff. I go to Russia every summer to visit my family and I need a phone there. The KRZR was the best "FREE" phone after rebates in my family plan.

I really like the look of the KRZR. Sleek. =D The RAZR looks old now, since it's everywhere. I remember when my Health teacher was the only one with a razr in the school.

"Gather around kids. It's the new RAZR!!!!!" OMGOMOMGOMGOMGMGO AHAHAHA I WANTS!

I don't see what's so special about the RAZR... It's sold here in the EU, but it's not popular.

To be honest I never expected anyone to actually say good things about Motorola phones. They've always been average at most. Slow and illogical menus, missing functionality have always been motorola's key attributes. And by the looks of their latest phones, they haven't really improved (tested the V360 and L7 a while ago and they were both terrible). Seems like it's another ipod thing, except ipod is at least a decent music player.

No. It may be the "#1 Selling phone in america" but i'd still treat it like the crap it is. I'm happy with my V550 even if it isn't some thin breakable phone.

EDIT: RAZR gives lots of radiation. (1.59 SAR Rating) my KRZR is only 0.9. 1.6 is the limit in the U.S.

BTW Dark, your Sanyo M1 is 1.22. Don't flame Moto for that. :O

Just go to sarshield.com and click on cell phone radiation chard and then click on your brand name in the blue column on the left. Then look for your phone and its first SAR. (First SAR column is U.S., second is Europe)

That may be because the phone was originally purchased from someone who unlocked a Vodafone V550 (which I think is based in europe)

Edit: it's not 1.40, it's 0.80.

I wish I had gotten something other than a RAZR but it's the only cool affordable phone from alltel.

The reason why everyone here has a RAZR is because they are trying to act cool. I would have been happy with another phone, but RAZR = MP3 + Cool Looking + Cheap + It does alot of cool stuff.

I was really looking at this phone, but my dad said he thought it would break, plus it doesn't play MP3's which was a big deal for me since I don't have an Ipod or anything.

I was thinking about this one alot... untill I noticed the ugly brown color it was.

my phone atm (mm-9000) has a SAR rating of .78 which is the second lowest of any phone sanyo makes bit surprising considering all of its features.

Whatever happened to being humble? lol...

For some reason I don't like samsungs much, the firmware (or display layout software, whatever) looks kinda odd... and they can't do file sharing...one of the reasons why I like Motorola phones
