Nooo...I ran MW on Vista Home Premium and it worked fine...

If you bought it legally, then go find a no-cd patch :P

i have tried it on both my vista home premium and windows xp (as i have partioned the hard drvie), and no luck - i went and got a no-cd patch, that replaces the speed.exe file, just like you said but the no-cd patch has the exact same problem, this goes for the official V1.0 file and official patched V1.3 file - i'm really stumped! please help

because the program crashes immediately i can only set the affinity of it in the task manager once it has crashed but before windows has closed it. For some reason when i open it again it has both cpu's ticked again, if you know a way of permanently setting the affinity other than task manager that would be good. And i have re-installed the game many times as i really wanna get it workin because it is one omy favourites! I know the disc is fine because it worked on my old computer though it wasnt very powerful so i can't get a return at the store.
