need help with FRAPS

i downloaded it, started up the game, and pressed the hot key to start recording. then stopped the game. and checked the folder and theres no video!!!
can someone help me out please???

I think you need to stop the recording before you exit the game.

i did and then i just click view and there are no video files

I think they are saying the game crashes once they start recording. But I could be wrong...

well i ask around in youtube and everyone who has a video of stepmania keep saying they used fraps

I also have a similar problem with Fraps. I hit the hotkey to start video, record all that I need, hit the key again to end, go to the video's folder to view the vid but it says "Error wrong codec" =/ so whats wrong?

Driv2Slow, download a program called gSpot, it will tell you if the codecs required to view the video are installed. If it says they aren't installed, type the codec into google and it should give you some websites that have a download to it.
