I have ABS, TCS and STM off, simulation damage, automatic shifting and medium AI.
I first raced with ABS on, but it's more fun when it's more of a challenge.

Offline(because i dont really care how much I get from the races there) STM ABS TCM on. AI - Hard. Shifting - Auto. Simulation damage and tyres. Online - ABS only, cosmetic damage if me and some mates are messing around and drifting. Also, I now have 10,600,000cr.

Unless you want to ge all achievements
I don't know how much money I could have, but I know that I got over 150 cars of wich alot are tuned.

I turned of STM right away cause it's useless, it didn't do much in Forza 1 and it didn't change in Forza 2.
I personally don't care if stuff is challenging I only care about laptimes and winning.
And if a assist helps me achieve that, then I'll use it.
The last time I checked it worked, cause I am in the top 100 of several career race scoreboards.

I think these are my settings:

Braking line: off
ABS: On
STM: Off
TCS: Off
Damage: simulation
Shifting: Manual
AI: Medium
Fuel/Tire wear: Simulation

I could set the AI to Hard, but I don't want to yet. :)
Maybe I'll do that with a new profile.

I use regularly on my 350z. Just tap the e-brake till it starts to slide, then use your throttle as a way to control your angle and speed. As you get used to it, start tweaking with the tire pressure in the back if you want it to be more loose. Increase the front camber to give the front tires more control during a drift or vice versa. Just have to find your preferred style and fine tune.

This is my intoxicated drifting

EDIT: I in no way endorse the idea of drinking and driving in real life.

Dude you really need to start doing some of the Endurance races, or create a design and sell it on the AH.

Edit: I just spent 1,000,000cr on an old school batman car. From the days of Adam West.

Even if you have completed them, do them again, it will level up your driver, and add some cr into your account.

The test-track isn't really suited for drifting, you should try Tsukuba or Mugello. :)

Sorry to say, but neither are those tracks. The two best tracks for drifting are: Sunset Infield and Road Atlanta, both have corners made to slide around, pretty much all other tracks have the wrong corners, or dont have enough consistancy in the corners.

True, but if you have noticed a big thing about Sunset Infield, it looks almost like alot of the drifting tracks out there, except for the speed ring corner.

They are usually just play scratches. It happened all the time with my first copy of Rainbow Six Vegas. It would get scratched up after playing for certain periods of time.

360's are known for sometimes scratching the DVD's, you can see lines around a part of the CD.
<y Forza 2 CD has it also, some other CD's have the same problem, but non of them have working issues.

Create a room, and set some private slots.
That's what I do.
