Next gen system purchase is pointless unless you have a HDTV. If you don't, the PS2 is the perfect choice as there are countless games available. 360's game selection still sucks pretty much not to even mention ps3's.

In comparison with the ps2, it does suck. There are hardly any killer aps on the 360... There are even few very good exclusives (only gow and forza come to mind).

Well, not necessarily that long... maybe another year or two.

The PS2 lasted for a good 6 years before the PS3 arrived, and it's still going. Sony actually wants the PS3 to hold out atleast 4 years longer than the PS2 did.

$499 is the regular price for the 60 gig
so theres no price change for the 60 gig
$599 is the regular price for the 80 gig

they will release a thinner and smaller ps3 before they release a ps4
