Re: Test drive unlimited
Nah the majority of TDU users are xbox based actually... When playing TDU lately ive seen alot of users online when i look at the map and checking players also there is still alot more cars to be released. Except PC won't get anything until maybe next year but they might give up seeing there is rumor's etc about TDU2 and might be one.

There is a secret island somewhere... but since I"m not quite sure where it is, I can't really say if that's it or not.GINIX_2007 wrote:So I was driving along in my F1 when I noticed that a NPC was off the map. So I went over to the beach to see what was up and well I guess u can see what i'm talking about. The guy was flying around over the ocean lol.

There is a secret island. Google Eden Island TDU and you're sure to find several video tutorials on how to get there.

Xbox 360 would be better imo... No bugs and you get more DLC later on or upcoming ones, better graphics etc.

Notice them or not, there will still be bugs, I dont mean to be rude about it. That's why you get updates when there is no new DLC out yet, it's the equivelant of a bug fixing patch.

Re: Test drive unlimited
Dude... this is awesome. I actually managed to get the video drivers updated on my laptop, so now it run's like a beast.
Question, since I have only played on my desktop, do I have to move my savegame to this PC, or will it load it from my Gamespy account?
BTW: What's the NFSUnlimited club's name again?

Re: Test drive unlimited
Don't count on it... TDU is full of a countless number of bugs. I basically spent $50 on a game that only worked for about 2 months before it encountered at least 3 different glitches that rendered my game inplayable (due to different forms of crashing to desktop even when I have all recommended requirements).

Re: Test drive unlimited
I did a re-install and it works sweet. Oh i read on the Atari forum that alot of peoples games are freezing as it saves and all you have to do is delete a file in C:

Re: Test drive unlimited
If you are buying it, don't get it for PC. And with the exception of bugs, it's a great game, so if you're in doubt, I'd say buy the game.
Re: Test drive unlimited
Nah not buying ANY games for PC. Only for xbox360. Only bad thing about the game is the lack of japanese cars. Luxury and expensive cars doesn't suit me. =[

Re: Test drive unlimited
With downloadable content I'm sure they'll be adding a few more every now and then. But yes, it's mainly a sports/luxury car game since the performance (and visual) tuning lacks depth.
