Pontiac GTO fails.
It should have been the Holden or Vauxhall Monaro, both of them have a better system, they're faster, and more stable. Other than that, it's a good list. And they spelt Silvia wrong.
It's also good to see the 1999 Integra Type R again.

Nice car list, but didn't they say there would be over 60 cars? Last time I checked, there were only 56 cars on the list, so there still should be a few that have been unannounced.

And what's up with using the 2006 LP640 instead of the 2007?

Is there a difference between the 06 and 07? Maybe they're using the first model released?

Maybe for the Lamborghini, but that's still odd because they are using the latest Audi S3, for example.

The Audi S3 is a hot hatch version of the A3 small family car, produced by German automaker Audi since 1999.

And the current generation S3 has been out since 2006, even though EA has put the 2007 model in Pro Street.

Oh ok i only thought it was released in 2007 because it came out in Aus this year, but honestly to we have to nit pick at the year model? Unless there was a significant difference between the two models.

Actually, the Corvette C6 included in ProStreet could be sufficiently better had they replaced the 2005 C6 with the brand new 2008 model. The 2008 base model features a new 7.0 L LS3 V8 (as opposed to 2005's 6.0 L LS2 V8), which gives 30 more hp and increases the top speed to 190 mph and 0-60 in 4.3 s.

And if I remember correctly, some of the older vids made mention of a McLaren license at the credits.

definetly the z4 is the hottest on the part IV of the carlist !! can't wait to drive this car .

It's a nice list, some cars I didn't expect, and some cars that where known already but not officially.
Starting to look like a decent carlist.

I think the Porsche 911 GT2 can be considered a supercar also cause it is a really fast car, but have no Idea if it's one of the 8.. or if it will only be the hypercars.

@Porsche-AG, if you have read the text you would know that the ZO6 Corvette (not a normal C6) has a 7.0 engine. and even if it's done wrong you can't check it anyway cause you can't look under the bonnet to check if it has a 7.0 or a 6.0, and you can never check the performance specs to be true.. it's still a game, btw wasn't the ZO6 a 7.0 from the start and the normal C6 a 6.0?
It could very well be that they forgot to mention it is a 08 or what ever.

where was it that i heard that the m3 (the one driven in the demo) is an exotic.

i forget.

but whatever, the car list that Thestig made sounds like that could be it.
the one in that list that i'd be iffy about is the carrera.
but then again i wouldnt consider it a tuner or muscle..

am i the only one who has noticed that the tires on the cars say need for speed on them?
it is especially noticed on the muscle cars.

@ TheStig: I know, but on the carlist there is both the 2005 C6 and the 2006 Z06 (The year for the Z06 doesn't matter since there hasn't been any major changes). And I was referring to the 2005 C6 being underpowered compared with its 2008 C6 counterpart (the 2008 model also features a stylish leather interior). I forget where I first read the information about the upgrade for the 2008 C6 but you can check on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_Corvette_C6 for the exact details.

@ gearhead: I'm pretty sure the 997 GT2 and possibly the 997 Turbo can both be considered supercars. And there's always the Ford GT to fill in any supercar 'gaps' along with the debatable Nissan GT-R.

Dang, you forgot an important one, im pretty sure the 2008 Nissan GT-R PROTO is one of the 8 supercars aswell

Dude its the GTR, not the PROTO anymore. Production version of the GTR has been released, check it out on the demo, its the GTR.

I wouldn't be suprised if the Nissan GTR was in the list also even though it doesn't even have close the amount of power the other cars have. (all around 600bhp or even more)

ooh and Porsche-AG, the LS3 is a 6.2 not a 7.0 but he just be glad the put in both the normal C6 and the ZO6 eh. although I rather seen a C5 ZO6 and a C6 ZO6... but he can't have it all eh?

@driverx15, what is there not exotic supercar about the Carrera GT? it is one of the fastest cars on the globe, also one of the most expensive ones, it has a 600+ hp V10 engine.. and it got all the exotic car looks... so I think there is only 1 conclusion:

@ TheStig: My bad, someone must have put the wrong information on Wikipedia when I checked it... I swear it said 7.0 L LS3... but thanks for correcting me. Still a small difference over the 2005 C6, however.
