Who found out you can get milk from a cow, and what the hell was he doing at the moment?
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Damn you are so illogical. I said "If my system will be". I plan to save some money to buy at least an intel p4 3.4 ghz lga775 and an ASROCK motherboard because it has that socket and AGP support and DDR ram. So why are you telling all this shiznit to me? It's way different. My system is not like this yet, and that's why I'm asking, so I would think of buying that or not BECAUSE I DO NOT KNOW CORE 2 DUO because I really don't follow Intel's technology. Okay?RVD wrote:let me fresh up your mind a little:
kamikaze_alias wrote:Hello there,
I here to seek help from u guys...I'm currently waiting for the release of NFS Pro Street in Malaysia...But,before buying the game,I hope that u guys can give me some advice and opinion about my PC's specs before i buy this game so that i can play it smoothly.
I'm also a NFS fan and have been waited for every release of NFS since da Hot Persuit 2!
Lately,I bought a new PC coz my old one is already broken down...so sad...
My Current PC's specs :
1)Windows XP Pro SP2
2)Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz 1333FSB
3)Kingston 2GB RAM
4)MSI GeForce 8600 GT DDR3 256MB (OC Version)
5)Intel Desktop Board Media Series DP35DP Motherboard
6)Encloxure Shinobi Chassis
Actually...I'm scared that i won't be able to play this game(NFS Pro Street) coz i saw the system requirements for this game is at least 2.8 GHz for Windows XP and 3.0GHz for Vista!!!
I've got only 2.33GHz Core 2 Duo...coz it's a big gap between 2.33 and 2.8...u know...
so frustrated.........
But i can play NFS Carbon SMOOTHLY with these specs.
Please help me and explain how will my system's specs perform when it comes to NFS PS.
Thanks a lot to u guyz...

No offence, but did you get my point?
Anyway, to answer your question:
Your CPU and RAM are fine, i'm just wondered why you have a Core 2 Duo processor with an AGP videocard? I didn't know there were mobo's like that....
Maybe your videocard could become a botleneck, but, as i said, i do not know the performance of your videocard.
No you didn't do well at all. Read my damn post again and his post. Can't you see that are his PC specs, and those are the specs I want to buy (CPU and motherboard only, the rest I have). Damn.RVD wrote:u guys flatter me...Andre_online wrote:ROFL!RVD wrote: It's not nice to talk like that to people who just have a very logical question, but it's even worse to then post EXACTLY the same thing on another topic.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Then IMHO that question has to be in another thread such as the NFS Pro Street FAQ or "Hardware related questions" ...

Will they fix the FPS problem where you get 30 FPS in the regular racing but then you get into the tunnel and it shoots up to like 120 FPS?

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
i've got a problem restarting my car in the demo.
after totalling my M3, instead of appearing "would you like to restart?" an hour ago, it began to say that "you have totalled your car and have no total markers left. choosing ok will return you to the Race Day", and OK is the only option....
wouldn't this appear on a retail version of prostreet, but not on a demo? i'm running this demo on a pc.
the same after totalling the GT-R.

The black car looks like a 240SX to me. And yes, that's the Lancer. Not sure if it's Evo though.

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Yes, it is, and it shouldn't surprise you. In various tuning shows that include burnouts and such, some drivers apply coloured powder to the tires so that the smoke coming out of them is coloured, resulting in a "cooler" effect.Zero260 wrote:Is that orange smoke???
I don't use pwned. I use BSODed. It's less cool and harder to say. I know.
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
I'm aware they exists, but I hadn't heard of those tires being featured in Pro Street...

Four more days to go. Yeah!
Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
Guys I got an opinion to ask for..
Here's a video of the demo running on my laptop:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=c3p4QyI4nlY
everything's on low except for car detail (high), Damage On, Smoke On.
Should I buy it for my laptop or save up for an Xbox360?
thanks!!

Re: NFS Pro Street: Official Discussion Thread
I think you'll get a much cooler experience of the game when saving up for an X360 =)
You could always consider renting/borrowing PS from someone or from a store to test the full version on your laptop, if you don't like it you can always choose to save up for an X360 ^^
