does anyone here who skates have good recommendations for skateboarding shoes? ive heard at least 4 different reccomendations from 4 different people. one person says DC's are good, the next person i asked says, no, get nike 6.0/sb's, someone else says c1rcas, and another person says emericas.

I don't skate but I wear skating shoes.
In normal everyday use my Savier's have been awesome.
No other shoes have been as comfortable and as durable before. I've had them for 4 years now.
I had DC's once, they cost twice as much as the Savier's and they broke down in 6 months.
But of course shoes wear and tear differently when skating than just by walking..

ive decided to try on a pair of vans and a pair of nikes today, and decide after dealing with which on is more comfortable, more light, and stuff like that.
