my future new com. specs

Gigabyte SLi (forgot the name)
AMD 4800+ Dual Core- 2.5
8600GT Nvidia
2GB RAM
DVD-RW
sound card- ???

Monitor, Keyboard, Speakers, mouse
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
suggestions

i wanted to play ProStreet at around mid-full

im still not planning for SLi cuz i'll be upgrading it for sometime but ill be buying already and SLi Motherboard.

help me how can i update the specs with minimum increase on the money...
the set cost around 35k Php
i must not spend 40k :D

please help me

Your Computer did not cost 35 grand unless the place you brought it/parts from ripped you off.

And for 40 grand you can buy maybe 5-8 of vodoo's fastest computer. Anywho...

Your computer already seems decent enough to handle Pro Street on Full settings. DId you already try playing pro street on the computer?

Thats not the computer he has, thats what he wants opinions about because he picked those parts. And I'm guessing that he does not mean dollars, obviously if he had that much to spend he wouldn't pick out the parts listed.

From that starting point, I suppose the easiest upgrade would be to go for a 8800 series gfx-card. Other than that the components are up to the task, allthough the 8600 should run PS just fine too.

Donald, you only see that cart. You have to post it on NewEgg and not just post a link to "ShoppingCart"

the money i use is Php (philippine Peso) estimated $1.00= Php 45.00

looks like GTS 512 is better than GT ill be telling the supplier


what else can you suggest for buying?


@vellu: 8800GTS is too much it cost here around 15-20k i would buy 2 8600 with those...

its like i want high grade com but with the cost of less

One 8800GTS is better than 2 8600GT's XDD

yes ive heard lots of techies talking about that...


BUT

i dont have extra money...the cost of the PC is over the pocket already :D

now i have the whole set, still under probation

43k php

The AOC 223VW 22" WIDE LCD Monitor
Gigabyte GA m5SLi-s4 (many people said its good)
AMD x64 dual core 4800+ 2.5Ghz (its fast already for me :D)
8600GT 512 or 8600GTS 512( <<, if available)
2GB kingston ram( i dont know what cool brands too choose from)
250GB SATA hard drive
mouse
keyboard
etc.


OS: i think its way better of w/ XP :D
