1.This is not the only thread for Undercover. There are plenty of other threads about the game and they don't get closed.

2.There's no fun in just checking a stupid list. I wanted discussion with others who might have seen something on another site since I happen to have a job and don't have time to do that.

Take it easy you McCain-voting red-necked American.

First of all, you can't make useless topics to discuss something that specific when you can easily discuss it in an existing thread. Second, I find it hard to believe that you have time to have these discussions with others yet you don't have the time to take like 3 minutes to find the carlist and check if your beloved American car makes it into a game. If it's that important to you, surely you can sacrifice 3 minutes of your "busy" day to figure it out.

You're not the only person in the world with a job, and others have found ways to cope with upwards of 3 jobs, so stop whining. If that's too much to ask of you, then maybe the internet isn't for you. And why does there need to be fun involved in checking a list?

You were really asking for it, and you have yourself to blame... and I think you over-exaggerated about the personal attacks. There is a reason why there's a DEDICATED THREAD for Undercover, so people like you don't cram up the forums with posts relating to Undercover.

Your sarcasm doesn't help either. By showing such attitude, it will not get you anywhere. You're so conceited and obnoxious.. The least you could do was show some sense of decorum and apologise.

Re: Need For Speed Undercover

Post by LolMaster »

I just got a smooth chance of playing Undercover in a finnish digital entertainment fair called DigiExpo today.

After waiting for like 1,5 hours I got my turn to play and it was worth it!

First of all, I can tell you, it's basically something beetween Most Wanted and ProStreet for me.
Damage, smoke and the realistic movement of the car is from ProStreet.

From Most Wanted you get the arcadish controlling and the look - also cops.

Cars turn veery easily, although I played with the new Audi TT which is pretty easy to be controlled.
You can loose it a bit in long curves, but doing stunts (360, 180, going backwards) is very easy and it can save you from hitting the traffic.

Damage is even more realistic than ProStreet (well, you cant total your car, anyway..) meaning that the car gets damaged even more easily, and not just the body, also the paint gets f###ed kinda easily.

Then the cops. This time the normal cops (Crown Vic's) come on the 1st heat, Nissan GT-R's on the second, and Porsches and helicopter come on the 3rd heat level, but the older cops don't escape when the heat changes like they did in Most Wanted & Carbon.

They are bit more lighter than in MW & C, and care about traffic cars more than they did in MW & C.

Traffic cars are very heavy this time, and they try to turn outta your way and use the indicator, and they got the damage too.

The game & plot go on with missions, where Chase Linh (Maggie Q) calls you and tells you something (big fair, lots of noise, hadn't got a chance to hear something, sorry) and then you like hafta take out a racer that stands in your way.
Then in the second mission you take out this guy's teammates.

For example, Hector Maio, with Lotus (Not so sure what car he had), you hafta take him out when he evades and his teammates try to stop you. Then you take out (destroy) his teammates with Megane Coupe and Lancer Evo X.

Tri-City is and interesting place, because it looks like a real town on the coast.
There are also construction sites and a bit lonelier places where you think that you can found drunk people.
So it's a interesting place where you can think kids are playin' at, but also the dark side where are the street racers.

What can I say, I just CAN'T WAIT FOR IT, it's NFS from my dreams, and the gameplay was awesome - gotta buy it, now!

I was really "asking for it" by making a thread wasn't I. Apologize? :-k Uh … no. Instead of asking for clarification regarding my post, a member requested my thread be closed. Then I posted it in the correct location and dared to express my displeasure at not being heard out and also explaining why I posted a new thread. In turn, I received more abuse. I responded in kind to the attitude that was initiated by the members in this forum. Had they been decent, I would have given them the same. They weren't, so I gave them sarcasm in return to their ridiculous posts.
Porsche-AG wrote:Take it easy you McCain-voting red-necked American.
Also, I have done my own checking. I have checked the typical gaming sites in addition to the sites dedicated to the NFS series. Once again, a member has made assumptions without bothering to comprehend what I'm saying. If you actually read my 2nd post in this thread, you'll find I explained the reason for my thread. Just so it's crystal clear for you, I was putting up the question to those who may frequent other sites for info that I am not aware of. Then we could have discussed the rumors about the Vette and also the Vettes in past NFS games. It was not limited to Undercover, so a separate thread would have kept things better organized instead of people having multiple conversations in one thread. Mmkay?

How does me calling you a McCain voter make me anti-American? It just means that I would prefer to see Obama as the next president as he would not only be better for your country, but the rest of the world too. And like Koenigsegg said, you need to show some respect to the "big guys" if you want to stay on this forum.

You're recieving "personal attacks" because you were disrespectful and proved how lazy you are in regards to checking a list, thinking you are some big shot that everyone in this forum will suddenly start to serve.

Then you don't know where to look. It's not that hard to type in "Need For Speed Undercover Car List" in google search. And if you wanted to talk about Corvettes in general, you should have put an appropriate title and placed the thread in the appropriate forum. However, I still can't see how that kind of topic could be justified to have it's own thread.
