can't turn on shadows after patch??? WTF?

[The Flash]

when I start the game it automatically set it to "off" and if I choose "high" it still reset to "off"
I try to use registry too, but the game automatically reset it to off whenever I start the game .

Any solution?

EDIT : Solved it by reinstalling the driver, but it seems the patch disable the car shadows
