Got my P's today =D scored 98/100 on the VORT (Vehicle On-Road Test).

Nice work. I got 94 or something... I crossed a like in the 90 deg park and missed an observation and safe gap, lol. Almost have my full licence now though, lol.

I think I scored 97 or thereabouts, but only because the inspector dude was chatting with my instructor the whole time. I'm pretty sure he wasn't even paying attention to my driving at all, and he just docked a few points to make it look like he was doing his job

Nah, for the first six months you have your permit you can drive between 6am and 9pm, the next six months you can drive any time.

I don’t remember the score I got for my test, but at least I passed the first time. The entire test itself was a bit of a cockup... because I was real nervous, and I stuffed-up two steep hill starts (where the clutch nearly disintegrated).
Bloody Queensland... I hated that place.

Yeah that sucks badly. I’ve been pretty lucky not to get any sort of speeding fine yet, considering I go over the limit all the time (in a safe manner ). Though I was once shouted at by a policeman I was driving past... and not long ago I whizzed past a camera which fortunately wasn’t turned on.
Unmarked police cars are pretty annoying. Though in Perth they’re quite easy to spot... in their base model Commodores and Falcons with about 20-30 antennas sticking out of the roof. They don’t exactly blend-in with the rest of the traffic.
