Shift Demo Keep Crashing

I just downloaded the Shift Demo for PC.

It works well for the first 2 days,then,out of sudden,it started crashing when there are artifacts on the girl's hair and some of the cars.

My specs are:
C2D 2.2GHz
3GM RAM
8600M GT

Is there anyway i could fix that? I love this game,but even the demo is not working,i doubt that im getting the full game now.

If it's like that,i guess im gonna give the game a pass then.

Even the visual customisation is a step back.

SMS's first try at a cooperation with EA. Something was bound to go wrong. Never expected everything would go wrong, though. It did however. If there will be a next time, perhaps they will do better then.

Looks more like the game was rushed and all the engine issues wasnt fixed before release.

EA should give them more time to polish the game.

I had the same problem and my specs are the same. I solved the problem as described here (http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/305852.page) in the first post. After that, you can change everything from the menu.
