Wheels

Post by Grez~Supra_RZ-S »

What are your opinion on these wheels?

The size:
Front 9.5/19
Rear 11/19

As you know, I need some new ones. (btw, this didnt go in the tuning topic as wheels have nothingto do with performance modifications)

The shape is not bad, but they are not my favorite.

And the chrome...:|

BTW, don't stop yourself buying those rims if others don't like them.. It's your choice. :)

Dont worry, I wont. I just wondered what the general effect would be if I had them.

They are 5 spokes with studs round, which is what Im looking for. Also, I think chrome looks good with black cars.

It all depends on the price he wants really.

I can't really say if they are nice without seeing them on a black Supra..

I might change my mind if I hypnotize myself and dream about a black Supra with those rims. :P

Grez, try putting your pic in .jpg format, maybe it will work then.

By the way, what's the price of those rims?

That's way too much if you ask me.

You can get OXIGIN Spinstar for about 1200 Euros.
They come in 7.5x17" and 8x18".

They also come in Chrome, but I don't know the price.

Thing is, these were Supra specific (ie correct offset, and wider rear than front - 9.5 front, 11 rear) and they were chrome 19"s.

The RRP is actually $4200, which is £2'283. He was selling them for the equivalent of £1'850, which is about the price Id be paying for Blitz, Racing Hart etc.

By the way, the Oxigin wheels were the ones I were looking to buy originally, I may still end up with them. Ive also spotted some very nice 5's, like veilside replica wheels, but non-chrome so I really like them. Ill try and find pics.

OXIGIN makes some really good looking wheels. Maybe you should consider this model:

That's OXIGIN TWO Chrome 19"

Anyway, I think I'll buy myself OXIGIN Spinstar 17" when I get my Tigra :D

Well they were similar to the ones you posted in the first post, so I felt like they were the kind you're looking for.

Anyway, here's how they look on Peugeot 206 CC

I think they don't really look good at a Supra.. The Oxygen Spinstars too.

The Racing Harts look a bit too classic, but they are nice. :D

LOL

I didn't even notice the sperm paint job until you pointed it out.

Guess I was blinded by the rims :D
