I was trying Rivals with thrustmaster f430 wheel and the game reacted to some buttons and camera rolled when I turned the wheel. Maybe it's possible to a create driver which makes the wheel look like game pad from game point of view...

I've read some news about Rivals not being compatible with any wheel. So you will have to wait for a third party software to allow that. It usually appears some weeks after the game is released on the PC.
