CustomChallenge?

There's an idea of having a challenge with custom vinyls and maybe also custom decals and other textures.

What I want to know is how many of you would actually participate in such a challenge.

Please keep in mind that you'll be able to enter only with a self made vinyl that hasn't been published before.

I can't enter at all. this not good challenge in my opinion. not everyopne knows how to make vinyls. (Including me)

I dont know how to make vinyls, but I could learn. Or I could not to enter and rate the cars.

im really bad at making vynils, infact i dont even know how to. So i agree with stereo. In my opinion, i think it's not such a good idea

well my opinion is, i dont think its fair to everyone that cant make vinyles, which is alot, and i think it should be open to everyone to participate cuz its not like people that can make vinyles cant participate in the challenges with out custom stuff.

NO NO NO NO, not every body here can make vinyls, and some of them are EXPERTS like UrQ, itamKutet...etc, so it wont be fair, and so i vote NO.

Amazing how selfish some people are. So NO because you can't do it and won't vote? Man, grow up.

We, vinyl makers submit those skins so peopel like you who can't do it, can just use them. Some of us spent a good deal of time on them, making sure they are good. The Vinyl section has almost 600 vinyls made by different users. Show some respect for those people, Skyline_Man.

This is done to see if there is enough of people to participate, not to gauge if YOU will like the idea. In fact, if you don't vote or enter, no one will notice.

hey man, i just said that u and some of the others rock in making vinyls, and some r very poor in making vinyls(including me) and others cant do it at all, so if this competition is held, ull be the 1st of course and itamkutet...etc, its ok for me if this competition will be held or not, ill enter and vote for others coz iam not selfish.

for those who say no: if you dont want to enter in this kind of challenge, just ignore it! As somebody said, there are experts like Urq. Ok, then Urq will win, where is the problem?? Learn to make vinyls and then you may beat him

Im going to 'study' just know, it is a good chance to learn and it will be very challenging to participate. Each car we see will be different and never-seen. I invite everybody to participate!

Well. I know how to make but i don't understand which colors to use....
Do i have to use pain shop pro or is there a color menu in photoshop? (Like if it shows what colors are included in the vinyl...)

Seriously, just a double stripe over the roof/hood can be the best vinyl. To make that, is very easy... May be if this indeed takes place - than just give it a 2 week in advance notice like Bojan said. This way there is enough time to enter, meanwhile smth like the Focus Challenge can be run.

For all the vinyl questions, please read the Editing forum - there is tons of suggestions. Don't start asking here what colors go with what - throws it way off topic.

even though i dont know how to make vynils, i would love to see how the competition goes. Before i disagreed and now i changed my mind. It would be cool to see how people are really talented. So go ahead and launch that comp!

there is a link somwhere in the forum with all templates, and if you cant finde it just ask me, i have all templates, i'll send them to you.

about the custom challenge, it wuld be nice to have some theam for challenge like nos or rally ot gtr. somthing like that. what do you think? and i think the one of the rule must be that ewerybody shuld make a vinyl for the same car. thats my thoughts. any coments?

I think that's a GREAT idea, even if I can't make vinyls, because it'll be cool to see great work on one place and it will encurage other to learn making vinyls,
