Maybe later in the game, but with lv1 upgrades you can only change the ratio for a final gear I believe...

Yes, yes, yes. About tuning. You adjust a button BETWEEN acceleration and speed. So you basically can't adjust each gear.

But I won't spoil too much lol.

Honda S2000
Opel Corsa
Honda Civic
Peugeot 106

US version:

Honda Civic Si is there, Peugeot 206 (not 106) is there. I heard Opel Corsa will not be in US version, so I don't know. And not sure about the S2000, might be unlockable in the future...

starting cars for us vers. is 206,civic,240sx,corolla,focus,miata, i think thats it. i grabbed the corolla. lots more wheel companys like work,5zigen,lexani,lowenhart ect. u pick the style then the size. money seems more tight so far.

Cool tunes: Awesome different styles of music. Techno, Rock, Rap... what ever you want. All together there's 27 tracks. EA did a pretty good job on that.
Car sounds: Better than in NFSU1 of course. My 240sx sounds pretty good, and sounds DO change after you customize them. Like my 240sx the tone of the exhaust sound got tremendously deeper than stock.

You can pick sizes, but only between 2 numbers.

Like the 240SX has from 15'' to 18''. And the Supra has 17'' to 20''. (Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't need to remember the rim sizes)

Woah, who has seen the new TV commercial in Canada? I think it was on "CityTV". It concentrates more on the style and it looks very hip-hopish. It doesn't concentrate a lot on the racing though.
Overall, I think it was pretty good. New, fresh ideas.

As long as I can pick the Corsa for my first car, I'll be happy. I'm gonna have to download a warez version of this game if Play.Com don't get their finger out and send me my mechandise soon.

And appologies if there any typos in my posts today, but I am using my ancient laptop as my P4 3.2 is undergoing a defrag. 52% fragmented might have accounted for the problems I was having with the demo!

I have been so short in time lately I have only played about 30 mins of the game, I chose the civic as my first cars and haven't won an outrun race yet, I did however win every other race like Sprint, Drag and Drift, Im getting used to it, but if you loose in Outrun u loose money COOL, also, money's shorter now , at least for me, and I've only bought a cold air intake.

Same place as the demo. Look for a yellow light, it's near the place where you drive up (Downhill Drift) If you drive north, you'll drive up the hills, and drive south, you'll be on the highway.
