ok i just unlocked the supra, and all of u supra fans are going to be disappointed.... let me start of with this:
i unlocked the car, and checked out how many gears it has, it has 6...
-->so i was like its the twin turbo supra
then i went to the dyno, and got a shocking read out...
--->225 bhp...
then i was like EA f*cked up again!!! the 6 speed supra only came in the twin turbo version which had 320 hp!!!! the NA version had 220 hp, and 5 speed, not 6!!!
so sorry guys, the supra u start out with sucks a lot.... really pissed at EA for not realizing this....
i guess they are just scared of realizing the true potential of the SUPRA

What you have to realize is that they would have had to specially balance the supra with the turbo upgrades if it was already the turbo'd version, if it got the same benefits of adding turbo 1-2-3 that all the other cars do it would easily be the fastest car in the game. I think it was probably made as it is so that it wouldnt dominate the field in stock form, you still have insane potential after tuning... so stop whining. if this game was remotley realistic the mustang turbocharged and fully tuned would be able to push out something like 1000 horsepower.

Moosehead115 makes sense... keep in mind guys, this is a game, and EA didn't want to make a highly realistic SIMULATION game that comes with a seperate 300 pages manual for each car.
now i understand that all of you supra fans are getting dissapointed but it gets annoying when the same question is asked again and again... so once and for all, hopefully (keeping fingers crossed).
"The SUPRA handles better in NFSU2 than in NFSU1."
as far as stats are concerned this is pretty much what you can get after you have all the parts upgrade.
keep in mind that this is NOT a fine tuned car so you can get better, if not MUCH better results after spending hours on the dyno and test track.

driving RWD in this game is almost like driving RWD in real life, except its about 300 times more forgiving (mostly because the game doesnt come with a pedal so you can only do throttle on, or throttle off)
let off the gas earlier into a corner, or you will over power your back end and go into a spin. you can use this effect (sparingly!!!) to help around tight corners, with a little coercion from the ebrake as well (again, balancing issues) once you have come around and the spin is subsiding, you can tap the throttle, or hammer it on... it is just a matter of learning when you can, and countersteering properly and not too long.

Normally i don't post but i find this rather interesting. so here's my first post here.
i find it interesting of the different result we had on the ' Not ' fine tune and fully upgraded parts for the supra. In my opinion the supra handle like a dream.
my top speed bar at the bottom is much lower but the output was higher?
