There are many differences between Acura and Honda ... Not dramatic differences in all cases, but differences nonetheless ... Compare the Honda Accord to the Acura TL and TSX ... Or the Honda Civic to the Acura EL ...

Also take for example the GM market. They stopped producing them now..but in Japan there was a partnership with GM and Toyota...therefor the Toyota Cavalier was born. Same J-body platform...right hand drive..different interior, tailights, folding side mirrors. Very rare coversion to perform over here.

Toyota and GM have had a longstanding relationship (like 20+ years now), so it's no suprise ...

GM always contracts other companies that it owns (partially or fully) to make their cars for them ... Everything Geo was made by another company with detuned engines, cheaper parts, etc. ...

those are model differences. the acura EL is the honda domani. the acura TSX is the european honda's accord. the acura rl resembled the new honda legend. the acura tl is.. uhm.. lemme look it up at honda.co.jp

Lol this is off topic but in Australia the Pontiac GTO is called a Commodore Gto and has a diff front it looks much better than the Pontiac GTO!

I've seen the Honda RSX on the road before, but never have I seen the Acura version of the RSX. But the car has the same model as the Acura too! So it's definately a same company.

Otherwise, Acura & Honda will sue each other's asses off!

hahaha honda owns acura. look at the acura emblem ... it is still an H ... this aside, we already proved that acura is owned by honda... i thought this was common knowledge

just to end the conversation honda and acura is the same thing. honda created acura so that it can export more cars in the us market since quotas where imposed on japanese cars. in this way honda can export twice the number of cars that it could have done otherwise. acura rsx in europe is called honda integra and is the same thing as rsx.

toyota created lexus

nissan created infinity etc
