Which car should i use as a main car?

I got a corsa tuned nicely still puts up a even fight with the bigger cars but i feel i should move up to a larger car.
I already have a mustang but its a bit unpractical for some races.

So what do you guys think?

Or the RX-8 or the Skyline. But the best option would be:

Just modify some cars in the main menu, and take them for a free run and see which car suits your driving style.

That's how I did it.

I completed the game first time through with the Pontiac GTO. If you like an oversteery car (and I do), this is the car to go for IMHO.

I agree, Tiburon is the best car since you can get all level's of unique performance upgrade on it.

I think you should really find it out for your self... it is really hard to say what is best... in this game it is really personal in what you like...

If thease cars matched the real statistics, which would reaklly be the best for all round purpose?

I found the RX-7 being the best one. But, I havent quite tried all the cars jsut yet.
