My friend got a "problem" in graphics..

He's got a Radeon 9800 Pro (which is a lot better then mines), still, look at this pic.

The road doesn't seems right, he has the 1.1 Patch and everything turned on, also, he tried to lower the settings and see if anything changed. As I said, my card is worse then his, and still, I get better road graphics then him.

Any help? Also, as I don't if that is normal in higher resolutions, since I use medium settings.

Reboot the computer? I has the same problem, it was gone later though.

its because he has enhanced contrast on. if he turns it off its alot lighter and it returns to "normal"

yeah most problems the first time go away when you reboot... why? dunno

I had a weird road and enviroment the first time... till I rebooted it... and it was gone.
and I have a 9800XT so

but now all is fine...
the other comp in my house has a 9800 Pro but for some reason the "software render looks" stays... have to sort that

the darkness etc is the enhanced contrast I think....

so just adjust the settings abit and see what happens

r u sure its not urs? does reboot alway solve da problem? so did " ur friends" graphic got bettah? dat must be a shyt graphic card bcoz my graphic is crap and still looks bettah
