Gameplay issues with vehicle control

I just reinstalled the NFS:U2 after a 3 month hiatus. Now the first time i installed it the game work perfectly, no complaints. Now this time around, when ever i start the game and go to the city, the vehicle's wheels allways seem to start out turned to the left unntil i hit the left button on the keyboard. Now thats not the only problem with it. When driving or racing, the car will suddenly jerk to the left usually at complete randomness. Has anyone else come into this problem? I know its not my keyboard, all my other games work perfectly fine. Thanks for any help.

Try adjusting your steering column

Joking... But try turning off some of the higher level, and in my opinion, unnecesary graphics settings... I had a similar issue, and my game was asting wierdly, until I turned some of those options off, or lowered some.

Yeah..... that didnt seem to work. I tryed a reinstall and it still does it.

That usually only happens with me when you use a very much used ps2 controler.

You havent been into the games files lately have you?

Nope. i havent touched the files at all.

It could be your keyboard. With some games on the ps2 controlers that dont work properly on some games work fine on others. Maybe its the same with a keyboard. Have you tried another one? If not I suggest you do, just as a test.
