Car doensn't match opponents

buy and install ALL of the performance upgrades that you have unlocked.

I had that same message when I didn't upgrade. I bought all the components, and it was fine! Are you sure? Double check every performace upgrade and make sure it's the latest number. If you unlocked some visual upgrades and didn't put them on - try that. Although visual has nothing to do with performance, so it will hardly solve it for ya. doble check, trade the car in or smth. experiment.

i had the same thing, except it was when i used the savegame editor to start the game again and i kept the level 3 gear, because my wheels didint have the level 1 upgrades it wouldnt let me race the tournament, all i did was to set it back to level one, race then change it back later.
