Wheel or gamepad?

Post by CrushB5 »

Which is best to use? I have a logitech force feed back wheel but is it good for an arcade racer like NFSU? If not I'll get a gamepad. Whats a good pc gamepad?

ps

I don't have the pc version yet.

Be careful with PS2 >>> USB convertors, I've had a lot of shiznit with the Joytech one. EA games "dont like them much", and I've spoken to Tech Support!

I'd use the steering wheel, although it might take a bit of getting used to.

If your after a good joypad look for SAITEK, or LOGITECH. The others are not worth bothering with.

Thanks. I tried the wheel with the demo version and I sucked with it, may take some time.

The demo I played sucked full stop, regardless of anything else! I only got the game cos' it was given to me. The full game is much better than the demo.

I don't have either a wheel or a gamepad.

But if I have to choose, I'll go for the logitech force feed back wheel!

Man you guys are right, the wheel makes the game much better. And I get higher scores on the drift tracks too. I'm so hooked on this game.

I use an xbox s-controller on a PC. Works really good in drift with the pressure sensitive triggers, easy to get perfect shifts.

I use the Thrustmaster Firestorm dual analogue pad, it is great for subtle steering & has excellent response, i love when i just rest my thumb on the stick and ease through the corner at top whack 8) 8) 8)
