Looks like EA forgot to work damage into the traffic. The traffic damage seems no different from Most Wanted, which kindof sucks because you can hit a traffic car going over 100 mph and just dent its fenders.

I just noticed something while browsing through screenshots. The age-old license plate on the cars is gone.

This sounds cool. I wish what they said in red were true.... [-o<
You can also use the e-brake to have yourself a little bit of fun drifting throughout the city streets. You can pull the e-brake, apply your counter steer and have fun looking ahead through your side windows! Of course this is much easier said then done and actually will take a degree of skill to master.

EDIT: This is from the review from the official forums.

That sounds like something fresh but I don't think it's very practical. I'd just use far chase cam like always. :P

Oh unless it was a replay camera, then oh man, bring it on!

personally the storyline just sound like a do over of MW to me. what's a good storyline without someone dieing in it? here's my opinion of a good storyline:

imagine you're watching tv in your living room and a news brocast cut in- you see police tapping off the scene of a crime, "as you look, you notice the place", "hey that's my (friends) place, Ryan Cooper!", you shout. right then the reporter on scene says, "Ryan Cooper has just been found dead in his garage, it appears to be a robbery gone bad! This is Michele Broom reporting for TCTV, downtown Try City." you quickly book a flight to Try City. You're first stop is to the police station to find out do they have a suspect, you ask to see the detective in charge-some fat man in a polyester suite ask you,"whattcha want kid?" and you say, "Ryan Coopers' murder", "look kid we don't have time to hunt down the killer of some punk street racer.", the detective tell you. You then storm out of the police station and catch a cab to Ryan Cooper's garage, you inter the barrage and look down on the floor and see the outline of Ryan Coopers' body. then you look around the empty garage, and you noticed it's not as empty as it seems, you see sitting in the far corner a huge torp "what's this you say? pulling off the torp. "Hey this is the Camero SS, Ryan Cooper and I rebuilt back in our younger days", you say. Right then your phone rings, you answer it, "hello," "yeah kid, i hear you're looking for Ryan Cooper's murderer, and i can help you," the voice on the other end of phone says. you then say, "i dont know you, and how do you know my number," "well lets just say i know Ryan from Rock Port," the voice says.....

well that's all i feel like typing now :)

Ok, this is getting ridiculous and frustrating. For past NFS titles, by now we would have had numerous screenshots, gameplay footage, and various content revealed. There are about 2 months left and barely anything is known about this game.

About time we get some new content. Three new screenshots:
http://worthplaying.com/article.php?sid=55419

Same pictures can also be found on Gamespot:
http://www.gamespot.com/pc/driving/need ... eader;more

New car revealed:
- Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4

EDIT: Also, I think the official site (http://www.needforspeed.com) has been updated. Some of the flying glass shards now show:
- Personnel Database: Chase Linh
- Personnel Database: Jack Keller
- Personnel File: Jack Keller

I haven't seen these before so I don't know if they are new or not.

EDIT 2: Worthplaying have a relatively short and lackluster preview of the game here:

I really doubt those are system requirements, unless EA really doesn't know how to optimize their engines (won't surprise me). Since when do you need at least 256 mb of vRAM and the 6-series of nVidia cards not being supported. I mean, the uber UE3 can run easily at those low specs (albeit at low settings but STILL actually works) and this game can't?

I'm thinking it might be because of the free roam and large city. Either way, it would be interesting to see the GTA IV requirements compared to NFS: UC

Daaamn... that would actually give me a reason to upgrade my RAM... =/

Still, I'd almost to be glad to see a 10GB space requirement. Most of the better games are taking up massive amounts of space due to their large open worlds. If TDU took up around 8, Imagine what they've done with 10. :P

Along with the G-Mac trailer posted on the front page of this site, GameTrailers also released the last episode of GameTrailers TV which contains a short video of Maggie Q, who will play Chase Linh and some sweet gameplay footage.

You can watch it online here:

Neither of those surprise me.....why?

Oh and as for the LP560/4, I will not be surprised if it's bodykits are absolutely no different to the ones for the Gallardo in Carbon and ProStreet. Gallardo Superleggera may look different stock, slap a bodykit on and take the vinyl off and see if you can spot the difference.

NOT confirmed and it looks suspicious since the new Gallardo is not listed AND there's a Ferrari Enzo listed which again looks doubtful.

Plus why would they pick the GS-T Eclipse when the GSX also came with a factory turbo and a 4WD drivetrain instead of FWD?
