TheStig wrote:What I have most in my CD collection is rock music
but I listen to almost everything... From some rap songs to Classical music (it can be really relaxing!)
and from dance songs to Gothic, and 90's to Metal

favorite bands:

Guano Apes (german band, lyrics in english)
Limp Bizkit
KoRn
Rammstein
Evanescence

but lately Vanessa Carlton is alot in the CD player in my car. something completely diffirent from the above... but I like it.

only a few things I can't stand...
that is mr Half a Dollar and his fellow Idiots and Thunderdome stuff (for who is Dutch.... a more suiteble name... Knetterdome!) cause it is IMO nothing more then irritating NOISE with to much BASE in it
You're a fellow rock lover?!?! Wow. I never thought that anyone would love rock music on this site aside from S2K, DOR, korge, and me. :)

To me this is the best rock´n roll CD all around I have in my collection. Almost ALL the songs are pure rock n´roll riffs. Try it.....

what is wrong with cruising on a warm summer day with good vibrations or surfin usa on the background... it's relaxed summer music.

When cruising it's rap/hip-hop, on highway or freeway it's trance(nice fast beat for high speed) or heavy(might make a bit too aggressive tho) :)

I am more original then using Rap or Hip hop while cruising... and I don't cruise for cruising... but more because of the semi traffic jam's in the city. (not real traffic jam's it is soo slow and waiting at each trafficlight.

and at the highway I do use rock music or even Metal... or when I am not in hurry I listen to Vanessa carlton or Genesis (no Jopuma I am not listing to a part of the Bible  ) or something relaxing... but have to say heavy rock Music or some dance songs work pretty well at 180 Km on the highway

Well I didn't mean cruisin' in a lowrider either :)
But rap/hip hop for slower speeds.

"A Thousand Miles" by Vanessa Carlton is gr8 :)

Well, if you want to get anal-retentive, the name of the thread is Fav. Bands. One person can't really be a band. But, eh, they're music, I guess, so all is decent enough.
