Gives new meaning to the "Car Phone."
I love it. Touch screen and carbon fibre? , and its running Windows mobile.

I got a Nokia E 51 atm. I got it only because my dad bought me one cause I lost my LG Shine. I'd love to have a LG viewty or Secret. I just love how those 2 look. IMO a phone doesn't need GPS or video calls or other stuff like that. That's why I care most about design.

Agreed.. I prefer the older Nokia phones. N95, I feel, is still the best Nokia phone there is today. It's really everything within a device.

N95 is built like crap as well. Mine almost fell apart and I sold it to some guy who refurbishes them.

I always use a crystal case for my phones. So when it drops, it's the crystal case which takes the physical damage.

I'd prefer a Nokia E71.

Also T-Shine, where do you keep your Pro at then? I'm a high-school student so I need to be able to have it on my person, but where it's not clearly visible...
I apologize for not being very clear. You can carry it in your trouser pocket; though, depending on the fit of your trouser or jeans, it will be somewhat visible. Like I pointed out, however, it does not feel bulky carrying it so - and this comes from someone, who used Samsung's ridiculously small X830 and F210 on a regular basis. Personally I have the Touch Pro in my inside jacket pocket when on the move and on the desk otherwise.

Today I "upgraded" my Siemens SK65 to an LG KS360.
Old:
New (but silver instead of blue):
The LG is nice but there are a few things I don't like. Ergonomics are not good and the menu navigation and customisation sucks. Also I can't stop the screen from turning off when I'm not using it.
It just has a bunch of annoying things like that, but at least it doesn't crash and turn off at random times like the old Siemens. I guess I'll just have to get used to it
And yes I do have a thing for qwerty phones, because I HATE messaging with the number pad.

With an exception of the iPhone, I love keypad texting. I presume you don't use the T9 when texting?

No, I also hate those predictive text things.

LOL! That explained why you got the Qwerty phone. Heh! Me? Love the predictive word feature. Cuts half the time I take to text people.

If Vodafone is going to make some Xmas deals, I think I'm gonna get a Nokia E71. It's the only phone that really winks at me from their phone list.

Don't you have an HTC Diamond? The heck is wrong with it?

Hmm, my old company phone is full of fail so I ordered the new company standard, the
Nokia 6300. Any good? I see it made some top 10 list of PDA phones for '08. Anyway, it's not like I have a choice.

No, I've bought the iPhone instead of the HTC.

It feels expensive in some way because of the metallic battery cover and glossy plastic finish. But one thing I hate about this phone is its small keypad. It's a chore to text with it.
You should've gotten the
Nokia 6500 Classic instead. It's much sleeker (it's really really thin), and the keypad is significantly larger and easier to click-clack on.

The 6300 is a really really good and durable phone. It has the features that you'll need on everyday situations.
Then, Andre, you hadn't got your hands on the N70.

6300, excellent phone. Doesn't pack much punch, but that's why it's good.
And the keypad small? I find it to be fairly large.

I tried a friend of mine's 6300. The keypad was quite small. I didn't quite like it, although the feel of the phone is exquisite.
taz947 wrote:Then, Andre, you hadn't got your hands on the N70.
Ho ho. I have... and its keypad is tiny as it could be - smaller than iPhone's as a matter of fact!

Yeah, the keys looks smaller on the iPhone, but I text faster and more precisely with it than with my N70.
The multi-touch screen really senses the heat of your finger and reacts. I've tried to operate it with a stylus and it didn't work.

Umm, Steve Jobs kinda mentioned in his keynote before that stylus wouldn't work on the iPhone / iPod touch.
