Yeh, I know your views and I agree with them to an extent. Still, Jeff seems to take the attitude that it's all about the lap time, and I don't blame him. Winners are grinners...

I use bumpercam myself. I used far view for a few profiles, but since making the switch, I now find the car almost impossible to control from an outside view. It does take away some of the effect of my awesome modding skillzz though - the only time I get to see my eye candy in action is rolling slowly into the race wrap up screen...

That's the main reason I prefer far cam ... along with the fact I know where the car ends ... lol. I have a fair difficulty immagining the edges with the bumper cam.

I always use Bumpecam for raceng just can't control it from outside.... only in drift I use the drift cam...

BTW I switched to the RX-7 for Olympic square and guess what? I went under the 41 second barier...

Only prob is, I just started four new profiles - GTCIRCUIT, GTSPRINT, GTDRAG and GTDRIFT. It's gonna be a while before I got a car with just the right uniques to really contend. until then, I'll keep hacking away with my useless unique NOS profile.

Ok I'm confused - the RX7 shot you say was at Olympic, but the pic is called Inner City RX-7 laptime.JPG??? Anyways, I've updated the ladder - hope it's right!!

Well well .. here's a little bubble for you to burst GT

My own fastest lap was made with... all of NOS .. lol, on 1 lap. I managed a second time to get down to 40.99 without NOS, but the other 9 laps were so firetruck up, that I felt bad about posting it

I use nos regularly, oly in short bursts when I hit the walls or when I shift wrong...

but the best times on OS and IC where without... think if you get a good race and use nitro on the right places... you might get killer times

All level 3 parts, no Unigue TJ's and no NOS.

I advise you to use TJ upgrades though. (hell .. he beat my time without ... I need to practise Stadium a bit ... when I get GT KNOCKED OFF MY SPOT IN OS!!!)
GT: *pant* am still sweating all over to pull this off ... lol. It's hard work.

PS: I propose a little change in the rules. I find myself irritated by having to end a good series of laps because of a lap limit, when I know the 11th lap could be the fastest. I also find it disracting to have other racers on the track at the same time. Thus the request is: let's make it "legal" to post the best time from Free Run mode for the fastest lap. For the total of fastest time on a circuit in 10 laps the only possibility is Circuit, but that's no prerequisit for the fastest lap. The other laps before and after it are quite irrelevant when you're after a single lap and not the sum of them all. What say you? ^^

Butt to get things straight, I you finished the game and then go into a Circuit race you no longer have the TJ's do you?

Because I can't get the save game editor to work.

Because if you still have em, then my previous post was incorrect and I did had TJ's on my car

When I get home I'm gonna give OS a go. Because my time there is 42.21, and that aint fast enough. ( Did that one with a RX-7)

depends on what car you chose dude. Your career car is at the end of the list, and ye .. it should have all the parts you had on in career. Now that you've ended one career, take this advice: don't do it again :p in other words .. race the 111 races .. and quit the 112th, now you've seen how it ends anyway (idiotic ending if you ask me) and you have your career car as a jolly. When you end your career, your car gets locked ... how kels is that eh? So instead of ending the career, mod it to the max .. and virtually you can stop there, so you can always go back to it and change a few things on it

. You know .. like haveing a normal car you can always mod .. just with the TJ uniques on it
