isn't it almost the same lenght as the A8....
think btw that it is a VAG thing... to make cars bigger everytime, wich result in a new type of car... for instance the Golf wich was to follow up the Beattle, but with the 2nd version it got bigger so the made the Polo.... now the polo is also grown (so did the Golf Again and again) so the made the Lupo...

Well, it's a trend, you are right, and at the end of the day, they will be right at the end of the Segment limitations, B,C , D or E... they make most space for rear passangers, as most smaller cars of the past were really tight at the end (E30 anyone?). So i think it's ok. But Still, A6 was to me like a 5 series, and when it's nearing the 7... or A8... it's horrible. Just too big!.. And the new A Klasse Mercedes - there is as much space at the back, as in the normal S Klasse. That's jsut sick! I took one as a cab the other day, and was shocked by how much legspace there was (even though it's 4 seater).
