Thx widebody X but those screenshots are inside a flash site. It would take very much time to take the screenshots, and there are in low resolution.

Skyline_man I think that there's not a lot of things to talk about nfsu 2 because there's not new info from EA

Well I don't know how many of you guys know this, but let me explain.

I just picked up my copy of BurnOut 3, and it's great, but that's not the point. I kept passing all these NFSU2 boards while I was racing, thought it was cool, but I wen't online to see whats going on at the BO3 forums. I saw someone talking about a demo of it on the disk, I wasn't too excited thinking they were lying, and trying to hype everyone up. Then someone said how to reach it, I jumped up and had to try it out. So I did what he said, and there it was, the NFSU2 demo, yes it's playable! I had a great time messing around, and doing out runs. It lets you play for about 10 min before it shuts off. I thought I' post this cause I know just about all the members are going crazy waiting for the demo.

Yeah Seui that's great considering I've got an actual copy of the game demo straight from EA that will let me play as long as I want. I made a review about the demo like a month ago ;) Very old news.

My friend has failed me as his camera cannot hook up to a PC in any way(what a douche) so we've yet to get some video of it. Hopefully bojan will be getting his copy soon enough and we can have some more demo footage for everyone.

As for the release dates.... All that those big name sites do is speculate, they don't have any more information than we do, so just because gamespot or gamespy or any other site says it's so, doesn't mean it's actually true.

Except it to follow the same release schedule as last year, as I've said time and time again. And stop making useless posts that say when your going to get it, cuz no one gives a sh*t.

Are you in a foreign country? Because I didn't realize this but europeon PS2's aren't the same as American PS2's.... Rather dumb if you ask me. But then again there is different voltages and whatnot that Euro's run. I was told that the demo discs being sent over there were lost.... Lost! lol...

Who knows, everyone will have it in good time.

Netherlands. Europe uses the so called PAL format (24fps and better colors) NorthAmerica uses NTSC (29fps but less quality colors)

And so a euro PS2 wont put out a NTSC signal.

I get the color difference because of different signals, but do you know why the frame rate difference (I have a PAL PS2) ?

on topic: I don't really care about the demo. All I care about is that when NFS:U2 is released, i get it asap :D

it has nothing to do with voltage and so... they just don't want people to get games in other countries in other continents.... has all to do with prices...

same goes for DVD and few years back with the VHS stuff...

not quite.. this what you are talking about are the "regions"
North America is Region 1, Europe is Region 2 etc
Software blocks you from playing a Region 1 disc on a Region 2 player (PAL PS2s are Region 2)

But my Region 2 dvd player has been unlocked with firmware to a Region 0
so it plays any region dvd now. My tv and cables also play NTSC so i can play stuff without problems.

Anyhow, back to NFS:Underground 2
Vinyls contest winners have been announced on the official site.

Go back to nfsu2 discussion :)

Hmm.... now I forgot who the admin was....??? :? -TheStig

In new screenshots we see the "blur" effect in rims. I just had a thought:
There will be spinning rims, isnt it? So this is the reason: Normal rims in movement will look blurry, and spinning rims in movement will look like stopped. Am I wrong?

your right Dani, thats exactly how spiners look, the actual spinner doesnt move while in motion but when the car stops the spinner then begins to spin

I wish everybody would stop trashing the SUV's. I totally agree that SUV's shouldnt be in any type of street racing, but come on, its a video game (a arcade type at that). People shouldnt be so judgeful into the game actually comes out and its played. Hell, who knows most of you guys might love the new SUV's

Yeah, Im getting used to the idea. It is better than cry :)

We already know 3SUVs in the game, and my favorite is the Hummer H2. I will imitate Horatio in CSI and make a strong car. Then I will feel like God crashing traffic cars and sending them 30meters from me :D

HOLY SMOKES!

You know what?

I finally got my hands on the demo! :D

You are driving an EVO VIII, and you can drive around in the city.. You can visit some shops and challenge others. The driving feels more realistic. Braking kinda takes a lot of time before you stop moving. The engine sounds great too.

But you guys just have to wait before you can taste it.. :P And trust me, the bodykits.. You'll get used to it. :P

@PSZeTa: I'm not sure how you got the demo, but that's not important. What is important is that I have an extensive(many many paragraph) review of the demo covering all that that I posted quite some time ago.

Old news for sure.

NEXT:

@Everyone-who-thinks-SUV's-should-be-in-the-game:
Your stupid and you have no idea what racing is. If EA keeps up this is gonna be an interactive carshow with the ability to make your own shiznit bodykits and everything! SUV's, Spinners, huge amounts of "audio equipment", is just a waste of time and as I've said before, should have been spent on making the game itself look more realistic. If anyone rolled up to the line against a Supra in anything with the three above items, they would be laughed off the line.

They would have been much better off adding actual trucks that shiznit SUV's and spinners and stupid shiznit like that. Like a Chevy Silverado with a Turbo and 2 stage N2O system... yeah. Other than that, it's a car world.
