LOL! I realised.. Thanks! ;)

I have to say, the R8 is a pretty subtle car. Unlike its sibling (Gallardo), it's a pretty quiet car when idle. Thank God I had my glasses on. Otherwise I would have mistaken it for probably an A3 or a Porsche 911 Carrera. :P
arabnight wrote:wow great pic, i haven't seen a R8 on the road yet. you should of took some great pictures of his cars.
I do hope you did not dismiss me as a stalker, and I don't intend to become one anytime soon. I was there at the right place at the right time. So was the car.

Went to Hong Kong recently, seen:
at least 5 GTRs
over 10 bentleys
a Roll royce phantom
A Lamborghini dealer
and several ferraris, assorted rare tuners and crazy ricebox-minivans. And a covette.

Only some, didn't put them on the PC yet. The bentleys were at this expensive hotel, I think the hotel's name was peninsula

Have you seen 60 Lamborghini's in one place? ;)

And Bentley's have been too common. I'm almost seeing it like an S-Class.

Saw a silver-gold M3 E92 Coupe (yes, M3, I'm sure) and a blue M3 E46 today, within 10 minutes of each other.

The 'M' BMW's are pretty rare over here.. I've only encountered two M5's and one E46 M3 so far.

Probably costs more than 20k more in terms of long-term costs. Insurance, gas and maintenance would be significantly higher as well.

I'm sure they're not. No one around here would go through that much trouble. Plus, all of the subtle trim lines up perfectly, especially on the E46 M3 (which I saw again today \:D/ ).

Although I've seen a few E36 M3s and probably a few other E46 M3s around as well, they're few and far between, and I have only seen an M5 once (E39). Most BMWs I see are the boring non-M variety. :(

As far as "V6": AFAIK, there has never been a BMW V6 - it's really an inline six.

I wouldn't go so far as to say M-series are rare, around here - more like uncommon. Though probably 90% of those are E46 M3s. I've seen a few M5s and even an M1. =P~

It's more expensive, and it has the same speed as the M5. I'd go for the M5 any day.. :)

Maybe NFS has influenced my decision about this, but my favorite BMW has always been the E46 M3.

M6s are okay, and I like the E60 M5 better than the M6, but I'd rather have an E46 M3 or E39 M5 instead of either.

PGR4 influenced my decision that my favourite BMW is the M1 Procar XD.

The E46 M3 is ultimate bang for your buck. £9k for 343bhp and one of the best chassis ever made? Almost tempting me to get another one.
