My favourite pursuit car is either the McLaren Mercedes SLR, Porsche Carrera GT or my all-rounder, Renault Clio V6. Shame you can't buy the first 2 until so late in the game.

Well my Gallardo works perfectly when i am in heat 5, it can really scope those C6's in the air when hitting threw a roadblock. And it can outrun them aswell with no problem (unless you are on the highway then they come in packs of 10 in front and 10 in the back, pretty hard to outrun that without using traps and shortcuts)

I really enjoy guiding a cop car into a wall or an on coming truck

Sometime a cop car will drive right beside trying to box you in, when that happens I try to push the car onot on coming traffic, its absolutly hilarious!!!

^^^Yup thats so funny... Also once i was drivin in a very narrow steet, and a big truck passed me and crashed into about 3 cops, and i got bounty for it... I heard big crash sounds

its soo cool...

I also like when the rhinos get straight into the cops behid me after missin me... Its so funny...

Yeah you can screw rhinos doing a litlle trick. Push left and when they turn left you push right and they run into police cars behind you. Traitors.

Another cool thing is when you finish a race, get in a pursuit and one of the guys you've just been racing comes the other way and smashes head-on into the cops. Happened to me yesterday

In my opinion there isnt a best car, because there are different groups each wit cars of around the same ability, for the cars u wud see every day the golf is the best, for sports cars i would say that the mustang would be best (even thou its a muscle car) and for super cars i would say that the Viper or Slr are best, but you have to be able to handle the power they put out.

Also... the chopper can come down to hit a police car infront of u instead of u....

Also sumthin REALLLY funny happened the other day... I was on one side infront of the gas station lookin at it, an a police car was on the other direction facin me and the gas station... Instead of goin around the gas station he went through it and it explodedat him n other police cars around it... Then he said "he went through the gas station".... I think he just wanted to blame it on me....

Also once i tried to go through the gas station, but i hit it and then got stuck becuz i didnt give the push towards the gas station alot of speed... Sooo like 5 to 6 police corvettes were surrounding me and my car's front bumper was touching the front of the gas station that explodes.... sooo when they were surrounding me i was gonna get busted but another stupid corvette banged me from the back of my car, which gave me th force to go through the gas station... and it then exploded on the other corvettes...

Erm, well history doesn't help either. Digging in my own memory NFSU1 online had uniques, NFSU2 had no uniques, so NFSMW has....

It was with some surprise I found this topic still so alive! Eheheheheh! ^^

About the best cars... If you are driving Offline with all Ultimate + all Uniques, nothing comes close to Lotus Elise or Porsche Carrera GT. Any other car is, at least, 3s slower, most cases, more then that.
I saw that Jmac did some testing using the NFS World Tour Sprint (27 km). I tried a few times that track with Lotus Elise (using 7 uniques and NOS, but: no shortcuts; no custom setup - used the default, all options bars at centre; no extensive knowledge of the track), and did 5m 30.2s. If one knows the track well and adapts the setup, I am guessing 6-10s improvement. So you see...

About Online... Well, here is the thing: when in Online Ranked, this game has a detail called Automatic Performance Matching, that can't be turned off. This means that all cars are "de-tuned" to the level of the slowest (in terms of ultimate and unique parts). And this is why Elise and Carrera GT can't beat M3 GTR Online Ranked. They both get "de-tuned" to M3 GTR level, and in that level, M3 rules.
Still, if everyone is using cars with all uniques, they will be kept, because everyone has "equivalent" performance. Also, if you Race Online Unranked, when you create the game you can turn this Automatic Performance Matching off.

jep clears it up. Tried some cars now, but online more and more ppl r using the M3. I'm sticking w/ it too. But have to mention: got my ass whooped on Oilrefinery by some brazilian guy in a, yes of course, a Lotus Elise

w/ a 20 sec gap..

But the biggest advantage is the weight of the M3, where I used to downshift for the Elise to re-gain some speed after landing from a jump orso, the M3 just blinks a little and keeps accelerating...

VG, since ur spending some time online: do you know if the 3 communities race together on 1 server? So: XBOX, XBOX360 and PC on one EU+US server? I still can't figure this 1 out....

To be honest, I still didn't even tried MW Online!

Since I finished the game, almost 3 weeks ago, I didn't had time to play, but I am getting back in a couple of hours! Eheheh! =)

What I know about Online mode, I know by reading the World Records Forum!

About the Server, I think there is only one for PC Users. But I don't know if this server is the same used by XBox users...

hi everybody.

i just got started with nfsmw, i'm number 11 on the blacklist, and i'm wondering why there is nobody using an audi a4.
i find it to be pretty cool, 4 wheel drive, lots of weight to smash those pesky cops and ram junk out of the way.

also, i love the bodykits available for it, make it look like a tank.

or is the car just maxed out at some point and the lambo takes over?
i have a real problem with the m3, since around here it's a car that most wannabe street racers get.

okay, it's a game ... but i pimped my a4 to look real nice, and i'd like to be able to use it for the rest of the game.

I've just finally won Izzy's RX8 for the 1st time. I modded it to the max and couldn't win a race with it, beggar keeps understeering into the walls; it's a rear wheel drive car (I believe), shouldn't it oversteer? Went back to my Punto with mods at the same level and am winning everything easily again. Begs the question:

Why are the faster cars generally so crap in MW? It seems to me that the Golf, Punto and Clio are (for me at any rate!) the best cars to use. The front wheel drive cars oversteer (??), the rear wheel drive understeer (!!) and the 4 wheel drives handle pretty well. Guess it's just another EA bug.

I've found the same thing as well, the only RWD car that oversteers from my experiences(I haven't used ALL the cars yet) is the Viper, which I love

and when you tune it, the Mustang.

I think the best overall car is the Lancer, it handles crazy!

Question for you guys: Do you prefer a car that handles like it is literally on rails, or a car that slides predictably through turns? I guess in Gran Turismo it could be like comparing "arcade" to "drift" mode?

When im racing, I love a car that rides like rails and grabs the tight corners at full throttle without slipping the rears too much.

When im crusing, I love a car that just lets go and gets insane angles though the corners without losing much speed.

Sorry if I'm resurrecting a dead topic, but I've just been driving the Corvette C6R (one of the Bonus cars you normally only get after completing the game).

Using the shop special tool, I've been using it in my new career, and all I can say is WOW. There is actually a car in MW that handles properly, and this is now easily my favourite!

Second favourite is, quite surpisingly, the cop SUV Rhino (with all Junkman parts, using the CarTuner 1.3 util). 235 MPH and it's unbeatable in pursuit! Handles nicely too

I will add up all the car's stock/upgraded times and find the average. The car with the best average track time will unofficially be declared the best car in MW.

NOTE: These races are not flawless. Races are only restarted as a result of severe crashes. Not all races will be flawless, so race data shouldn't be either. Small wall bumps and scrapes are merely the cause of the car's inability to steer well around that particular corner, so that race data is partially based on the car's ability to steer.

You can drive better with on example Porsche Carrera GT than Golf so you cannot judge from that list.
