Now I'm making an exception to my own rule about posting off-topic for the purposes of dealing with the above post by GirlRacer17.

Speculate as you would like to about what she said to me, and the small portion of what I said to her that she decided to post.

I will say that she is now banned for making 2 offtopic posts(including the one above) inside of this thread. Which means, while trying horribly hard to show how I was breaking the rules, she was inturn breaking the rules I set forth pertaining to this thread. Damn those technicalities :)

Furthermore! I found some entertaining information:

Users posting from this IP address
Jaguar617 [ 2 Posts ]
GirlRacer17 [ 1 Post ]

Damn I'm good. So yeah that IP address, and those two usernames are thus, GONE! Hooray. So it turns out the guy was pretending to be a girl, or vice-versa. Either way that's really nasty and I hope everyone has enjoyed this episode of NFSUnlimited: The Dirty Secrets

Continue posting as per usual.

Yea looks like a bug of some sort. It also reminds me just why I dislike the new mustang.

Seeings all NFSU 2 stuff goes in 1 thread ill post this here, most of this may have been covered in other interviews you've read, but to some it may have something u were unware of.. who knows.
it is a little old now but only to old eyes.

GG NFSU2 interview with EA
RebornGG wrote:NFSU 2

Q1)Will the PS2 and XBOX be able to race PC users?
A1) No, there is no platform compatibility. Users of each system will be
competing in their own separate universe.

Q2)Will there be a Replay Feature?
A2) Yes, replays will be included in Underground 2.

Q3)How will the Online Rep system work? Will it be the same as it was in
nfsu?
A3) The reputation points have taken a dramatically different turn this
year. In place of the betting points system from last year we have now
adopted a tiered ranking boards system. Each game mode will track
separate points and as players earn points they will work their way
through 10 tiered ranking ladders, only being ranked against other
players in the same tier. Players can create and filter games based on
tiers to only allow players of similar cars/and experience. The tiered
ranking boards will also be tied directly into the body/performance
parts available for the players online car. This means everyone starts
their career with a base model car (for each game mode) and must race
online to build a better car. Players also have the option of racing
single player/career cars online in unranked games. Also of note,
players will never lose points this year, so it should encourage
everyone to complete races even when losing, they simply won't win as
many points finishing in last.

Q4)Can you tell us what new car/s has be included?
A4) Not yet, but we'll be making announcements on the car list soon.

Q5)Will we have any original drift tracks from nfsu left in the game?
A5) Yes, all the original drift tracks (and some new ones) will be in
the game. Many of last years drift tracks will also be available in a
new game mode called Street X, which will focus more on getting the
inside lane around every corner. We have also incorporated drifting in
the open environment down the city streets
.

Q6)Will it have a FREE CAM/Spectator mode (like the bf series etc).?
A6) No, there is no spectator mode in the game this year.

Q7)Are there any systems in place to stop rammers in drift mode?
A7) Players will now have the option to turn collision detection off in
any game mode, and can also filter for games with collision off as well
.

Q8)Will there be Drift limits in place like there is in NFSU?
A8) The drift system will be very similar to last year, with a few new
enhancements made to make the mode more streamlined
.

Q9)In NFSU you can not modify the Underground Car once it is completed,
will this be amended in NFSU2 so we can change/modify our main car as
and when we please?
A9) Yes, you'll be able to change the car to your liking as well as own
different cars with different setups depending on your racing
preferences. Once career mode is complete players will still be able to
select Career Mode and continue racing in events and refining their
cars.

Q10)What kind of music will there be, and have you lined up any big
names?
A10) Music is definitely going to be a big part of the game, but the
specific artists are still being determined. We'll have more
information on this soon
.

Q11)Will we be able to transfer our cars from NFSU to NFSU2?
A11) Unfortunately, no. Underground 2 is going to be a much richer
experience, so much, that you wouldn't even want to
.

Q12)Since the HDD has come out for the PS2, will their be downloadable
content that PS2 and Xbox players can download, such as tracks/cars and
patches?
A12) Not likely.

Q13)will there be any car damage in the game?
A13) Yes, there will be some extent of physical damage in the game.

Q14)Will there be a ghost mode online so you cant ram?
A14) As stated earlier there will not be a "ghost mode" we will however
enable players to turn collision detection off for online races.

Q15)How many new drift tracks are included?
A15) Due to the use of the city environment in drifts this year we do
not yet have a concrete number. There will be quite a few though
.

Q16)Will we be able to drift on the street as well as fixed tracks?
A16) Yes, there's a new element where drifting has "gone back to it's
roots" where you'll be able to drift down a track that actually goes
down a hill in the city. This track takes out out of a closed course
and really utilizes the open world aspect.

Q17)As some of your screenshots suggest there will be music upgrades for
car (subs amps etc in boot), Does this mean the game will be
implementing a similar system as Battlefield vietnam has, where vehicles
can play out music that's in
the game?
A17) At this time the design is about customizing the trunk of the car,
however the option of selecting music to play is a good idea and we'll
look into it further.

So there ya go.. glad to see they take ideas from public so seriously, it would be nice
to see some kind of music addition for in-game.

Big thanks to Jon @ EA for sorting this out 8)
Hope some of you found something making it worth the read, if not at least its refreshed your memory :D

From HIS site, GG (GamersGeneration).
I found some things I didnt know. For example the ability to modify your car even later have finished the underground mode (cool!), and the fact that there will be specific online careers
BTW I dont agree with the new rep system idea (not to lose points if you lose a race).

As mentioned earlier about the RSX I believe it is the 2005 Type-S model, although that's just my speculation. I don't see why they wouldn't have it in the game :)

Does anyone know if sprint will be in the game? I've read most of the previews, and it doesn't look like there will be.

after reading that interview by reborn u can mod the car after the career mode is completed.... which means it may be like vice city, where after you beat it, u can still continue to do stuff around the city... maybe nfsu2 is a never ending game... there are always gonna be stuff to do and races to compete in, random racers in the streets.... etc... thatll be sick

OK I said 3things. I give you the evidence of all them.
1. You can modify your car after been completed UG mode:
RebornGG wrote: A9) (...) Once career mode is complete players will still be able to
select Career Mode and continue racing in events and refining their
cars
2. Specific careers for online mode:
RebornGG wrote: Q3)How will the Online Rep system work? Will it be the same as it was in
nfsu?
A3) (...) This means everyone starts
their career with a base model car (for each game mode) and must race online to build a better car. Players also have the option of racing single player/career cars online in unranked games
3. New rep system in which you cant lose points if you lose a race.

I think Reborn got the last fact wrong... I saw in one of the videos that when you hit a traffic, your style points will be deducted, hence reducing your NOS.

Watch this video CLOSELY in the first few seconds, if you don't believe me. Image

1.See your nickname.
2.Remove the 'Andre' part.
That is what we are talking about :D Rep points in online mode.

I can confirm first hand that you lose some N20 if you hit traffic, it's in the demo. Also if you draft, drift, or do a 360 you GAIN N20.

We know about that already. Accoding to what Dani said, you WILL NOT lose your Style Points online... In UG1, we also don't lose our Style Points online because there're no traffics. So if EA hinted about NOT LOSING style points online, does that mean there're gonna be traffics this year? Image

Dani means that you won't lose Reputation online when you lose a race. As in, when you go online and start with 100 rep, and then everytime you win a race you get more reputation points. If you lose, your reputation points won't go down.
